And. Um. I have totally given up on having any pretence at deep thoughts for this show, haven't I? Because okay, yeah, it's not the greatest show in the world, but I don't even CARE anymore because it's so much fun. Same with how I feel about Prison Break... and Torchwood, for that matter. Though I love all three to death, and in spite of their problems I think all are pretty decent shows in their own rights.

Mostly right now though, really, I just want to go find some baddirtywrong Peter/Sylar fic, pref based on this episode (come on fandom, I know you can turn out fic that fast...). And then go to bed at some undetermined point, I suppose...

*a few minutes later* My point is proved. (haven't read it yet, so can't attest to its quality, but am about to read it. And it's the point that counts, anyway. ^_^)

Also, I need a Sylar icon based on this episode. Come on fandom, supply me! ...or well, I might transfer the ep from my TiVo and cap it myself for the icon. We'll see... Need to change icons anyway - have had this one since May. At the least, I need a new Tony icon. o.o

Omg this is intense. XD I'm bidding on Heroes s1 on eBay; I was the first bid, but I guess someone was watching it because they bid right away... we're up to $21 + $10 shipping, still within the range that I'll pay cuz it's still darned cheap. :) 9 min left... *goes to refresh again* I've got about 12 minutes left on lunch, lol, so it works out. :)

Sitting in Koerner Library before class... theoretically was supposed to be getting some work done, but that... hasn't really happened. ^^; Instead I've been deliberating over whether or not to pick up a copy of Heroes season 1. I want to re-watch season; there's a lot of details I've forgotten... plus it's a shiny 7-disc set with a ton of extras. Found an eBay buy-it-now fr only $34 inc. the shipping, which is pretty good. I dunno; I don't really have time to be watching more stuff right now, and it seems silly to be spending so much time rewatching stuff I've already seen instead of, say, getting off my ass and finishing Homicide: Life on the Street or watching Battlestar Galactica or Stargate: Atlantis or.. something. I have a list somewhere in my head. ^^; Instead? I'm rewatching Babylon 5 obsessively. And I'd rather like to finish that before starting something else (though it'll be awhile; I only just started s2). Plus I'm gonna need to rewatch bits of Farscape for my essay soon. And admittedly, it's not like I don't have ages and ages to rewatch Heroes s1 (and 2, for that matter) before season 3 starts.

*thinks* Well, I've got another auction that's only $26 with the shipping which is a proper auction, but it ends tomorrow and there are no bids, so maybe I'll wait and see if I can get that one... I'll feel marginally less guilty about it if it's $8 cheaper. XD

Anyways, I watched Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles 1.03 on the bus today and enjoyed it. God bless technology, ya'll - I missed it last night, so downloaded it overnight, converted it to iPod format this morning, and tossed it on my iPod Touch to watch on the bus. Sweeeet. Decent ep; I'm enjoying the show overall. Gotta love Summer Glau. :)

Okay, better run to class now..

Heroes slash guide. Spoilers through season 1. Now if only she'd update it for s2... :) It's damned funny, anyway. The map is especially priceless. And Peter as the 'little black dress of Heroes', because it's so true.

I want to watch season 1 again. It took me most of s1 to get really into it, and I'm more into it now than I was in s1. I'd like to see it again... if anything, because I've forgotten a lot of shit. And I want to see the Sylar/Mohinder stuff again now that I'm somewhat into the pairing.

(yes, I'm procrastinating. I've written half a page of 2 pages though, so go me! ^_^)

Meant to post this yesterday, but forgot... this is awesome news. :) Can s2 of Heroes come now, please?

*is getting more and more excited about the upcoming new season of television* Hurry up, September... (and for once I can say that without having to also say "but damn, September means school..." woot.)

In the meantime, today is haircut and Bourne Ultimatum. Woo hoo. Colour desperately needs to be touched up - I've got aboue 2.5-3 inches worth of roots, and there's a rather obvious line on my hair where the dyed colour stops and the real hair starts. ^^; I've been balking at having to spend money to get it fixed, because I'm not sure that I want to have streaked hair for the rest of eternity and it seems to me that I should just stop now if I'm going to rather than having it done again and having the same dilemma in a few monthes, but whatever. ^^; I do rather like it, and I've gotten used to having semi-blond hair. I'd like for them to blend it better than the other hair salon did, though - they made it very streaky, and I'd prefer it to be more of a natural blend.

I'm exhausted... stayed overnight at Ryan's, stayed up to 3am watching movies and hanging out (watched Brokeback Mountain, 3rd time for me 1st for him. Waah... that movie makes me sad. ;_;). Evidentally my body is not used to staying up to 3am, because I was dead all day even though I slept in to 11. Meh. Sleeping on his couch didn't help matters much; comfy though it was, it was too soft to sleep on without hurting my back. We watched another ep of Farscape, too; ep3 (Exodus from Genesis), which I hadn't seen since I first watched the show a year and a half ago, back when I wasn't really sure how much I liked it. Decent episode, really; I liked how John is already starting to care for Aeryn and how determined he was to save her. Awwwwwww.

Ugh, bath now then bed. So tired...

Great stuff last night. Both Prison Break and Heroes were fantastic; that was easily one of the best Heroes episodes that I've seen so far. Taped The Black Donnellys and watched it earlier today; really enjoyed it. I've been hearing about it on my f-list for ages, so decided to give it a shot. Plus, gotta support my Oz alumni (Kirk Acevedo). :)

Oh yeah, and I watched the season 2 premiere of Supernatural yesterday. ( spoilers for SPN 2.01 )

And now, Lee on L&O: CI. :) I don't watch CI normally, but it's Lee so I'm making an exception. :)

Watching the Oscars and am bored... don't know many of the movies this year, so really it's just in the background while I fool around on the computer. It's dull yet oddly I can't stop watching...

Got back to school last night, and have done very little since... had a great week with my family in Halifax. Didn't do too much, though we did visit a farm which was cool. Other than that, just hung out and drew and talked. Was nice to be around people. ^^ Didn't do any work, of course... managed to read the play that we're starting this week in English, but that's about it.

HAHAHA, Snakes on a Plane reference at the Oscars. Most exciting thing to happen so far. XD That was awesome.

Now, back to boring awards for movies I haven't seen. XD I'm looking forward to the In Memorium part, actually, because I'm hoping that Andreas Katsulas will get a mention. Though he wasn't in the one at the Globes, which was disappointing.

Lesse, some random thoughts accumulated over the week (because I didn't like typing on my cousin's computer ^^)

- PB was awesome, it's increasingly becoming one of the only shows that I genuinely really look forward to every week. Getting frustrated with everything else, but PB is consistently exciting and entertaining.

- didn't expect to get to watch SVU, because we were at my cousin's friend's farm that night, but after we'd finished watching our movie and the end of American Idol we were channel flipping (at 11pm, which is evidentally when SVU's on in the Maritimes) and lo and behold there was Meloni. Woo hoo. I want caps from that ep; there were a few awesome shots of him I noticed... haha, yeah, that's pretty much all I remember. Kinda 'wtf' about the reveal at the end, but don't care much.

- GA went exactly how I expected, but was generally enjoyable. Sandra Oh was fantastic, as usual. Nice to see JDM again (and kinda strange for me now that I've been watching SPN so am more used to him as John Winchester than as Denny these days... at the time I started watching SPN I didn't even realize that it was the same guy ^^). The end of the ep was good.

- just watched VM today, since the family doesn't get the CW.. was spoiled about it the other day, so already knew the main thing that happened, but( VM spoilers )

- gotten some more pics done for

- finished season 1 of Supernatural earlier today! Really enjoyed it, and have 2.01 downloaded so will watch tomorrow. Though I already know one of the main spoilers for it... :( Last 2 eps were really good. I love the interplay between Sam and Dean, the snark and the angst... don't really have any deep thoughts on it, but am enjoying it. And read a ridiculously hot Dean/Sawyer crossover fic the other day, heh. My feelings about Wincest are mixed, so going to hunt for more good crossover fic...

And.. that's it, I think. Oscars are still boring. Meh. But oddly entertaining, anyway... can't be too much left, maybe an hour? Not sure.

Orlando in a few days! Yay.

Think I'm going to be heading to Halifax for Reading Week, now... NYC's still a distant possibility, but even if it works out I don't think I'll go. Too expensive, too big a deal, and I'm going to Orlando the next week anyway so I don't really need 2 big trips. Looking forward to Halifax now; I called my uncle and he's fine with me coming. It'll be fun to hang out with the family and do very little beyond spending time with them, watching Supernatural, and possibly playing FFXII if they don't mind me bringing my PS2. XD Hey, I won't have much schoolwork to do, so I might as well make use of the time to play more. ;p

Nothing much to say about Heroes, either. It was good. Hiro was wonderful and adorable as always. I barely recognized Chris Eccleston when he appeared, but when I realized it was him under all the scruff I squeed. :) Was excited to see him in the guest credits at the start, and hopefully he'll be around for awhile. I miss seeing him on Doctor Who, though I'm enjoying David Tennant (9 episodes into s2! Only a few left, dammit.)

I signed up for fitness classes today. Go me! Now I just have to actually go.

Also, I did my first picture for

fanart50 today, even though I haven't actually signed up for it yet. For the prompt "What have I done?", it's Keller looking remorseful in the s2 finale post-Operation Toby. It's the first full portrait I've tried with my tablet, and I'm fairly pleased with it. It's pretty sketchy, but I like it... Might touch it up a bit more, but I'm basically okay with it as is.
