Prison Break s3 premiere tonight! Getting very excited! :) Granted I've already seen the first 17 minutes. but damn I'm looking forward to seeing it again and seeing the rest. Here's hoping for more Alex angst... ;p
Have some thoughts on the Emmys.. some good, some bad. Happy that Terry O'Quinn won for supporting actor, good for him... and happy and surprised that Jaime Pressley won for supporting actress in a comedy (though admittedly I was pulling for Jenna Fischer). Also happy that The Office won for best writing for "Gay Witch Hunt", because I love that episode. NOT happy, however, at James Spader winning best actor again - wtf? He won two years ago and people were pissed off then! Can't believe he won over Hugh Laurie and James Gandolfini. I don't watch The Sopranos, but if James Gandolfini won over Hugh I would have been satisfied based on what I know of the show. But blah. Disappointing. I was spoiled by stupid IMDB.com about The Sopranos winning best drama, but wasn't surprised either way and from what I know I'm sure it deserved it (plus it was obviously going to win...) 30 Rock was a bit of a surprise for best comedy, I expected Ugly Betty since it won the Globe and is the biggest new comedy this year. Haven't seen either, anyway, so can't really say... would kinda like to see 30 Rock, actually, so might check it out. Dean Winters guest starred in s1. :)
So yeah. Same old, same old. Some surprises, some disappointments, some laughs (loved Rainn Wilson rapping, loved Colbert, Stewart, and Steve Carell jumping up and down and hugging like a bunch of adorable dorks... lesse.. umm... anything else fun happen? ^^;)

Date: 2007-09-18 05:10 am (UTC)I agree.. well, I don't mind substitiutes for the occasional blurry background shot, but definitely not full recasting (which, as I've said, they've at least promised not to do). I hope they just take her off the show for awhile but leave teh door open, and if by the end of the season Sarah has decided she absolutely doens' twant to return, then kill her off. And oh yes, the Michael angst. Wee, that'd be fun. ;) Poor guy, though.
