EEE! My day got instantaneously better the moment I walked into my Popular Film class late (just finished my essay for this class, yay) and saw Chris Meloni on the screen. XD XD Granted, it's Chris Meloni covered in really ugly makeup (as Freakshow in "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"), but who cares? :) I still recognize him under all that stuff. The screening today was TBA, so I had no idea what we would be watching (and it's the last class, so I kinda was hoping for something fun). This is a funny movie... saw it years ago in the theatre. And MELONI. Who just got shirtless, albeit kinda hard to see the hot what with the makeup on his face. o.o Didn't manage to notice if they'd added makeup or something to his chest to make him look less gorgeous (didn't see it for too long), but his arms looked good as ever. XD Also noticed that they covered up his Christ tattoo - which seems odd, given that the character is crazy religious freak who keeps talking about Jesus. Huh. The tattoo would have fit perfectly, don't know why the covered it.

So happy that I finishd the essay for this class... I started writing it last night at 10pm, though I've been working on the preparations for it for awhile. Stayed up to 3am, then finished the rest today (hence was 40 min late to this class, but I've seen the movie so it doens't really matter). ONE more essay left, my fandom one, which I started on Sunday so I'm partway there. Due tomorrow at 2... another late night tonight. *le sigh* But then essays will be done, yay. :) Course, I have 2 take-home exams due Monday... ehehe. -_- But anyway, almost done everything and then home in 2 weeks!

Hee hee, this movie is hilarious. XD Though sadly no more Meloni. I vaguely recall him popping up again later, though, so we'll see.

CULT TV actor Alexis Denisof has been cast for the first play in the Liverpool Playhouse’s new season, the Arthur Miller classic, All My Sons.

He will play Chris Keller, the son of a man suspected of having shady dealings in the American aircraft industry during World War II.

*gigglesnort* One of my favourite actors playing a character with the same name as one of my favourite characters on Oz? Awesome. XD I'm very amused right now. Pity it's in the UK...

And speaking of Keller, I showed my mom some pics of him/Chris Meloni and she said he was ugly. HELLO. -_- I mean, look at him. *points to icon* Should've showed her the B/K wrestling porn scene from season 2... that man freaking ooozes sex appeal. I mean hell, he made a straight man fall in love with him after all. XD I wasn't immediately attracted to him when I first saw pictures, but I could see how he could be appealing. The more I saw of his character, the sexier he became - it's partly the way he plays Keller, with that smooth, predatory, powerful, hungry, and overtly sexual way of looking and acting. He's so intense and, well, sexual. ^^ I love how he and Toby can just look at each other and the sparks start flying across the room. He can look at almost anyone and they'll fall straight into his arms. It's really quite remarkable to watch, rather like watching O'Reily manipulate people, only with sex. He knows exactly what buttons to push and how to manipulate people to fall in love with him, which made his s2 seduction of Toby fascinating (albeit painful since we knew the inevitable outcome from the start).

...Okay, that's enough singing of Chris Meloni's/Keller's praises. *cough* But sex appeal aside, he really is an excellent actor. He can say so much in a single look, and I love how he and Toby can communicate so well without saying anything (esp the kiss in s5).

Only 4 eps left to go of Oz... I'm halfway through the so-called Season 666 and it's really not that bad so far. Not sure why everyone dislikes it so much. I mean, yeah, I know very basically what happens at the end, but sad as that is it doesn't make a season bad... But I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the last 4 eps. So far I'm enjoying the season, though. ( Vague spoilers for Season 6 )

I should scan and upload some of my pics today... am WAY behind, and I have some new Oz drawings I can put up. :) I'm down in North Van for the day, with little to really do. We have to clean up and organize the house because the movies are coming tomorrow again, but that's about it. Though Mom and I are also planning on going to Ikea to look at cheap furniture. Oh, bk635 - have you finished with Firefly and Serenity? Cause I'd like them back soon. Want to show them to someone on the island, who's into sci-fi in general and liked Buffy, but hasn't seen Firefly. Any chance I could pick them up today? You can keep the burned DVD of the eps if you haven't finished watching the show, or finish them up today... and I guess you can keep Serenity for now - if he wants to see it, I can rent it for free at the video store. And on another note, I'll eventually getting around to commenting on your latest post (cause omg you posted! You're worse than me. XD). I'm just lazy.

On a random note, does anyone know any good basic free programs that I can use to cut a short few-minutes clip out of an episode? Windows Movie Maker won't open my Oz files because of some codec problem (it tries to download the right codec, but to no avail...) I want to make a few clips. The B/K bin has a lot of them, but there are a few others that I want. Plus I might upload a few clips, and I obviously won't upload theirs (and I don't want to bother linking to their main page and giving directions). I'm tempted to clip and upload the Vern/Beecher 'last duet' musical interlude from Variety, because how could I not love an episode with random musical interludes?? And the Vern/Beecher one as the best, though Father Mukada singing Tori Amos's "Leather" was hilarious and somewhat disturbing.

Random note #2: I had a dream last night involving Keller and sex. That made me very happy. XD
