ria_oaksRandom amusement: About ten minutes ago, a guy walked past my apartment building carrying a boom box that was loudly playing "Mamma Mia". That strikes me as rather odd. :) Also, I have "Mamma Mia" stuck in my head now. Thanks a lot, random weird guy.
Some other random amusement: Last night I was crossing a 4-lane street and a guy stopped in the middle of the road, executed a three point turn, and shot off in the other direction. The whole process took a good 30 seconds, I'd say. I mean, a u-turn is one thing - it may be illegal, but at least it's fairly fast... this guy just stopped, started turning, paused to wave some cars by, backed up a bit, then continued his 3-point turn. In the middle of the street. Wtf. -_- (fortunately it was evening so it wasn't too busy, but still... a guy waiting to cross the road with me just shook his head and we both laughed).
