Pre-first Iraq episode Q&A...
I love this man so so much... I've got the episode downloading right now, vee-ery slowly because my Internet connection here is crap (and darn, she doesn't have the comedy channel. ^^ Not surprised, really, since it costs money to get that channel...). Can't wait to see it!
Anyway, so far our new host is very nice. Older lady who lives in a house in the main town in the Blue Mountains. Nice house, nice garden. Not on an incline. ^^ Did some work in the garden this afternoon, and relaxing before bed now. It's coold here - about 4 degrees. And to think, it was about 17 in Sydney. :( But it's very beautiful - she took us for a brief drive up to a lookout, and it was freezing and windy and getting dark, but I could tell that it was very beautiful. ^^ Def looking forward to going back in the daytime, and hopefully it'll be sunny out.
And yay, just this evening (between writing most of this earlier today and finishing it now, at about 8:30pm) we were able to line up our next host! Yaay! We have to fly to Canberra where she'll pick us up, then we'll be heading back up to Sydney 1.5 weeks later, but oh well... we've called so many people, we're just happy to find someone! She sounds nice enough over the phone, and I think quite a bit of the work will be indoors. So yay. And hey, we'll get to see Canberra for an afternoon... woo hoo? ^^ I've heard it's kinda dull, but hey, it's the capital... we can see the parliament buildings, and there are supposed to be several good museums.
