Fox News really needs to find better things to talk about.. like real news... seriously, attacking Obama based on his preference for dijon mustard? Aren't they, like, supposed to be a "serious news station" rather than a comedy network? XD I just don't even know... *shakes head*

I guess I'm an elitist too, then. You?

And when, exactly, was Fox a news station that could be taken seriously? Can't have been in this century…. ;)

Guess we are. ;) (personally, I would totally order my burger almost exactly like his... cept I'd have onions too, and I don't think he did). I love Dijon mustard... much more exciting than regular mustard, and def preferable to ketchup (least on hot dogs - I'll have ketchup on fries and sometimes on burgers, but never ever on hot dogs).

Heh, this actually reminds me of an ep of The West Wing I was watching a week or so ago (and early s2 ep) where everyone at the White House is worrying that President Bartlett is going to alienate green bean farmers in Oregon by saying that he doesn't like eating green beans. XD XD They spend quite a bit of time discussing it and how he can't say anything about not liking green beans because it might cost him votes in Oregeon. It was amusing.

Lol, scarily enough, people do take them seriously. XD But man, do they not have anything better to talk about?? That's the kind of stuff that they talk about on Comedy Central. ;) *wonders if TDS or TCR will do a segment on this*

Hmm. I don't take my burgers with mustard except under duress, but I'm fond of dijon-and-sauerkraut hot dogs. ^^ Dijon's definitely more exciting, though I like ketchup on burgers more.

lol I wonder what else WW will end up having predicted? That's actually kind of silly, but I guess they do worry about that stuff…

That is scary. DX They must have something better to talk about, but I guess maybe that's a segment of non-economy stuff, perhaps? But still, seriously? Mustard? Link me to TDS or TCR, if they do do a segment.

Lol, well, they totally acknowledged how silly it was in the episode, which made it all the funnier. ^^ Just went and checked the relevant bits of that episode's scripts (short term memory...), and the actual issue was that some newspaper had picked up a story from an 'unnamed source' saying that the president doesn't like green beans, then it got picked up by the rest of the press, and everyone in the west wing starts worrying because the press it all over it and it could harm them in Oregon (even though there's all, 'wtf this is stupid'). lol. good stuff. ^^

Want a really creepy prediction it jokingly made? In the s1 finale, which would have been circa May 2000 I believe, President Bartlett made a half-joking comment about how he was going to bomb Bahgdad (which sounds terrible, lol, but makes more sense in the context of the story and his delivery of the line). Anyway, definitely made me go "meep!" at the unintended foreshadowing. o.o

I just... don't know. ^^ Fox News is just crazy and runs stupid shit like this. But people definitely watch them - O'Reilly generally gets higher ratings than Keith, who is in the same time slot (this probably accounts for quite a bit of their feuding, actually, lol. Well, I don't think Keith actually really cares, but Bill-o evidently brings it up sometimes as a reason that Keith doesn't like him, or something. *eyeroll*).

I will, though might be awhile - still havne't watched last week's eps... am way behind. Just recharged my Internet, so will prob download them now.

Smart move on their part, I think. :) That sounds like a fun episode.

Seriously? O_o Wow. Do terrorists watch the show at all?

A solid Republican base, then, composed of people who want to be paranoid and hate any government that isn't pandering to them. Yeah.

Okay. Fair enough. ^^
