Wrote this up yesterday while the Internet at the hostel was down, intending to actually post it when the Internet was back up. Which it is now, thank god...
While standing in line for my free pasta at the hostel (while the Internet was still working and I was on my iPod) I was checking my FList and saw that Andy Hallett (Lorne on Angel) passed away the other day. Age 33, from heart failure. God, I can't believe it... it was so sudden, and he was so young (and I had no idea he was so young, either - he would have been 24 when he started on Angel. Always though he was in his late 20s/early 30s at the time... anyway, doesn't matter I guess). He was great as Lorne, and I have so many fond memories of the show and his part on it. And he seemed like a great guy from what I've heard, and what I've seen in interviews and such. What a tragedy, my heart goes out to his family and friends... we're all going to miss him. :( He's the first major Angel actor to pass away since Glenn Quinn all those years ago.
RIP Andy Hallet.
(will make another post later, prob, about the walking tour I went on today, but wanted to post this first...)
