DUDE I rock!! The video store called and left a message and I went in all excited because I knew why they'd called (the Oscar contest), and I talked to the owner (my old boss, too - yeah, small island, what can I say? I've worked my way around a few of the businesses here. ^^;) and she said I was the ONLY ONE who guessed them all right!!! *bounce* I'm kinda ridiculously proud of myself, even though most of them were either dead certain ones IMO (best picture/director/supporting actor), or ones I was pretty sure about (best actress (based on her winning at the Globes, mainly, as well as the media coverage), but getting supporting actress and best actor were definite gambles. I chose Penelope Cruz on the basis of Stephen Colbert choosing her, lol, because I had no idea about that category. And I went back and forth between Sean Penn and Mickey Rourke for a few minutes before saying "hell with it, I want Sean to win..." Was worried I'd screwed myself over with that one, but it worked out in the end!

Anyway. ONLY ONE to win. Out of 40-50 entries, she told me! I was SO excited, it was slightly embarrassing. XD Not even about the prize (5 free movie rentals, though that's pretty nifty), but the fact that I was the only one and the fact that she's going to get the local paper to take a picture of me for it. XD XD Yay me.

You won?! Yay! Awesome! Pretty much a given, with your knowledge of the films, but still, yay! I hope you enjoy those free movies. :)

Thanks! But hell, some of those were pretty much educated guesses. o.o I'd only seen 2 of the movies that won out of the 6 (TDK for Heath and Milk for Sean Penn). Still, am proud of myself and v. excited. ^^ (already knew I'd won because I remembered which I chose and I cheered everytime the ones I was less certain about (Penelope Cruz, Sean Penn..) won. But never thought I'd be the only one to win. o.o

So? You still knew the films better than me. I wouldn't have even managed the educated guesses. ;) Pretty darn impressive, however you look at it.
