Whew... two more Scrubs pics to share. :) One's been done for awhile, the other I just finished today. Experimented with Photoshop to make the backgrounds; pretty simple, but I'm learning.. am very very happy with the second one, both the lineart and the colouring. Discovered a brush in Open Canvas that made colouring a lot more effective, and had a fun time trying it out. Am generally happy with the first one; really liked it when I first finished it, but have some quibbles with it now. I definitely think my colouring is improving. :)

Anyway, both pictures are from [livejournal.com profile] randomslasher and [livejournal.com profile] thuri's brilliant Scrubs fantasy fic "Changeling". The first is of JD and Jack, inspired by the scene from ch5 when they've just arrived at the cabin and Perry is watching JD holding a sleeping Jack. It was such a sweet and beautiful image that I had to draw it. :) Meant to have a proper background originally, with a window and snow and everything, but it didn't happen... heh. Anyway, second picture is a general picture of JD and Perry from later in the series, so big spoilers for what happens to specifically Perry. :) I changed how I drew JD's wings in this one; think I prefer them like this, but not sure.

Fandom: Scrubs
Characters/Pairings: JD and Jack
Rating: G
Warnings/Spoilers: light spoilers for the early chapters of "Changeling", just in terms of JD's and Jack's Changes.

Coloured version
Lineart
OpenCanvas Event File - up to the background, which I did in PS. Just... ignore the end of the event; I tried to do a background in OC and it didn't work out too well. ^^;

Fandom: Scrubs
Characters/Pairings: JD/Perry
Rating: G
Warnings/Spoilers: slash, of course, but I don't really consider that a warning. :) Not-quite-kissing. Spoilers for late in "Changeling", regarding Perry... if you're reading the fic and haven't finished, I'd suggest doing so first. :)

Coloured Version
Lineart
OpenCanvas Event File - lineart (I started colouring this and didn't like it, so copied & pasted the lineart to a new file and recoloured it there)
OC Event File - colouring (up to the background; again, done in PS)

Anyway, let me know what you think. :) Especially about the second one; I'm really pleased with that one.

Okay, bed now... work tomorrow. :( Though I get to show off the pumpkin I carved tomorrow! My supervisor and I decided to surprise our manager, who was away Saturday, by carving a pumpkin with our logo on it and brining it to the office tomorrow. Except I screwed up on the first letter and had to make it really big to compensate, so the word "First" is huge and can't be fully read while standing in front of it. XD Then I've got the nifty swirly logo next to it. So you kinda need to walk around it to see everything, but oh wells. :) Pictures later. Still have my own pumpkin to carve. Want something to commemorate Deathly Hallows, I think - not sure what, though. Thinking maybe the sign of the Hallows? Pretty simple, anyway. Any other ideas, anyone?

Aww very cute! :D

Something about Perry's head in the second one bothers me... but I'm not sure what. Brow and eye ridges, I guess.

Anyway, good work!

Thanks! :)

I think I need to darken in his face a bit... the features don't stand out enough.

*looks at it again* Oh yeah, the brow ridge, you're right... or more to the point, the top of his nose. It's sticking out all funny. Should fix that. ^^
