God I'm lazy... virtually all I've done this evening is sit on my ass on the couch and watch the Seinfeld marathon on ch48. Dude. Least I also got some scanning done while watching, then fiddled with the pictures while sitting on the couch (which wreaks absolute havoc on my back and neck, ouch). Just a couple of Prison Break drawings, inspired by ficangel's "A Walk-On Part In the War".

First up, Alex and Cameron from ch11. The image of Alex watching his traumatized young son sleep and reaching out to gently touch him just broke my heart and made me immediately need to draw it. :) I like how it turned out, all things considered... it's pretty sketchy and parts of it irritate me, but I rather like it anyway.

And second, a rushed sketch of Michael and Alex... inspired by the story in a more general way, as this doesn't really fit any of their kisses in the fic. It mostly just fulfilled my desire to draw the two of them together. :)

Guess I'd better go to bed now... but yay, tomorrow's Saturday! Only one more day of work this week and it's a short day! Plus the books ale at the library is today, and that's always fun... will walk down to check it out during my lunch break. Will grab a hot dog from the Paradise Grill and check out what they've got. Here's hoping it doesn't rain... they've got big tents set up, but even so. ^^;

bk635 - dunno bout Bourne Ultimatum yet. Depends on a few factors when I'm coming down. Maaybe tomorrow night, or else Monday afternoon. Want to see it, anyhow.

And on a totally random note, did ya'll know that Friday Night Lights s1 is retailing for a ridiculously low price? It's only $19.99 USD! $28 on Amazon.ca, because evidentally they haven't been informed of the real exchange rate (seriously, wtf? It's practically on par right now!). Will buy it from DVDPacific.com - they're American, but their shipping is cheap. Just checked Amazon.com (literally, right after I wrote that) and it's $1 more than DVDPacific.com. Hah. Well, we'll see... either is fine. Anyway, Mom's hooked on this show - she's been getting me to download it for her all summer and now we're buying it so that I can watch it (granted I have it all on my computer now, but I'd like to watch it on TV... just can't get around to watching things on my comp these days, it's so uncomfortable in comparison to my couch). Plus it's a really good show (I've seen 6 eps, anyway...) and hell it's cheap as heck! She just watched the last episode last night and wants to buy it because she thinks it's so good, heh.

Bed. Right. Going now... 1 more day of work, sigh.

(also, GIP - random shitty Alex icon that I started monthes ago and just fiddled with right now. This is why I don't make icons.. le sigh.)
