ac1d6urn. It's a version of OpenCanvas, I gather, called CG-Illust. It's actually designed for anime style drawing, which is nice.. I downloaded the trial, and I really like the smoothness of the pen - lineart looks a lot better in it than in Photoshop, I think. Anyway, I've been fiddling with the colouring and ended up with a little doodle of Harry which took me, like, 2-3 hours. -_- Simple, but I rather like it. Fooled around with it a bit in PS after, just to blur some stuff together - the blur tool in CG-Illust doesn't seem to work too well for me... I prefer the PS blur.

Also working on a Snape/Harry picture right now in PS - it's almost done, just have to finish the background.. got distracted tonight with the shiny new program. :) Will post when done. Also still have a shitload of scanned art to post, but anyway...

Date: 2007-07-28 11:31 pm (UTC)Yeah, I was thinking I could maybe pop over on Monday to check it out? I'm going to bring a universal remote to see if that works better than your remote... also still concerned about the spazzing out - we don't keep our TV on all day (takes up a ton of power, ya'know...) and we turn it on and off fairly frequently, so I don't want it spazzing for 5 minutes each time. How often per, say, week does it happen, do you think?
