*wibblesniff* Smallville was so damned good tonight... it made me weepy. ;_; I love Clark and Lex, and it's so sad to see where their friendship has gone... and seeing the remnants of it in this episode... wah.

GA was shiny, mostly. Addy is ridiculously adorable and gorgeous and I love her. And I love her hair, it's so red and pretty and and... anyway. *cough* I may have finally been won over on Addy/Alex, too, even though I'm generally an Alex/Izzy shipper. And I've never particularly liked McSteamy. Next week, pilot of the spinoff - kinda excited, because first off it's about Addison, and second it's got Paul Adelstein! I'd still prefer him to stay on Prison Break, of course, but looking forward to seeing him anyway.

Earl and Office were both good. I love Dwight and Jim. <3

Interview tomorrow at Doc Morgan's. Haven't really prepared, not sure what TO do to prepare, and kinda nervous... meeh. It'll probably go fine; she said it'll be pretty informal.

On the island now until prob Monday. Not completely sure when I'm coming down, but Mom's coming down either Sunday or Monday night so whenever she does I will.

FFTactics is still addicting. Toby has almost achieved Ninja. :) Now working on Chris and Ramza. Because all my main fighters must have Ninja and Two Swords. XD (notice that I have characters named Chris and Toby... yeeeah).

I taped Supernatural tonight. Figured that I might as well tape the final 4 episodes so I can watch them when I'm caught up, if I don't catch up in time to watch them live. Watched ep7 today, which was very good. Mom watched it with me (was watching it while waiting for the ferry) and she liked it too. :)

Tonight's Supernatural episode was amusing. I think it's cute when they spoof other shows. Almost thought Gordon would be back, but thankfully, I was wrong. It's hard to believe that there are only four episodes, what with all the haituses this season and all.

When you come down again, we should go see Hot Fuzz. That movie looks quite funny.

Good luck at the interview.

Yeah, the seasons are all ending so soon... where did time go? ;_;

Yeah, I heard it got good reviews. I'll have to look it up later...

And thanks. :) Hate interviews, but I don't think it'll be too hard.

wait... huh? Did I miss something? When did YOU start watching GA?????

I've been watching GA since it started. :) Yeah, it's pretty soapy, but it's well acted and reasonably well written/clever and I confess to liking it. ^^ I eyeroll at the soap sometimes, but still enjoy it. *cough*

Uh-huh...

I've been watching GA since it started.

Wait, what?????

Yees. ^^ Mom and I watched the series premiere 2 years ago, and liked it; I've watched it every week since. I occasionally mention it on here (I've been talking a bit about the GA spinoff recently, mainly because an actor from Prison Break I like is in it), but I'm not fannish about it and I don't write reviews or anything usually. All things considered, it's really quite a decent show, albeit somewhat soapy - but if you don't mind the soap, it's pretty good. I like it for what it is, anyway. I like lots of shallow shows. XD Like Prison Break, heh. And Smallville, which is one big supernatural soap.

...HUH? Dude I've watched GA for two seasons as well. haha. But stopped out of disgust out of that ridiculous ferry boat 'incident.' You know which one I'm talking about. >

Really? I didn't know you watched. XD I didn't mind the ferry boat thing... I knew that it was an obvious ratings stunt because of sweeps at the time, so I just shrugged it off. The whole "Meredith coming back from the dead" thing was laame, but I figured that was exactly what would happen in that episode so I just sighed and let it go (though how awesome and gutsy would it have been for them to kill her?? In terms of 'good TV', that is, though admittedly I don't exactly like her either). It was nice seeing Denny back, anyway. It's pretty good right now, except for one ridiculously stupid horrible icky new plotline which I haven't recovered from. *ahem* And I like Addy, though she'll likely be leaving for her new spinoff (first ep after GA next week...) soon. Since chances are pretty darned high that the spinoff will get picked up (come on, what are the chances of it getting low ratings?? Unlike, say, DRIVE, which was awesome but died in 2 weeks. Dammit. *still bitter*)

It would've been so so so SO wickedly cool and redeeming of GA if they had killed their main character off. OMFG instant hospital angst!drama... she would have such a bigger effect in death than moping around pathetically alive... ARGH WHY DIDN'T THEY DO IT. Oh right, don't wanna get angry teeny letters and probable show cancellation. Riiiight. Wait, Addison's leaving? Wow, so glad I jumped off the bandwagon when I did....

It would've been awesome... Meredith is boring and annoying. -_- Though I suppose it would've still been kinda sad, for Derek's sake at least. Though honestly, both of them and their relationship rather bore me. ^^

Addison's prob leaving GA, but getting her own spinoff which will likely have crossovers with the main show and include characters from it. Esp in the first ep, next week, which I believe will include most of the main cast.

Anyway, it's still worth watching right now, imo, but one of the main storylines at the moment is squicky and blah and Addy leaving will be sad. Otoh, new show for her is cool cuz she's awesome. :)

But to see his reaction to it when she died? mmmmm... angsty!Derek. Err wait-- more than usual I mean.

That would've been good, yeah... poor guy.

Oh c'mon. his acting so need to be abused more... or just his ability to put on a puppy sad face? haha

Heh, yeah, it'd be nice for them to maybe do something more interesting with him. He's a good actor, I just find his character kinda uninteresting personally. I don't dislike him, I just... don't care that much. I like him okay, I suppose.

From: [identity profile] bronzejarith.livejournal.com
Yes-- he was quite boring in Freedom Writers. Just remade his McDreamy personality without the hot doc-ness. I wish GA's script had something that would challenge him more, he's just been getting by putting on the same pouty face for adoring female fans. ><;;;;

Yeah, it'd be nice for them to do more with him. And I don't even find him all THAT attractive, though objectively-speaking he is, so I can't even really appreciate the eye candy. XD I'm not actually really into any of the guys on that show, go figure. Though I do love Alex more and more, and he's pretty cute.

Meh I think I like his emoting qualities more so than his debated hotness. And his snarky sarcasm, thats hooot. ;D

From: [identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com
Yeah, he emotes nicely. XD I like him, all things considered, I'm just not that interested in his character.

Maybe it'll be a fantastic plot twist if suddenly turns out that he has a dirty he-mistress... mmmm...

Date: 2007-04-27 11:32 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com
Well, technically Meredith was kinda his dirty mistress. XD Unless you mean a male one (me=stupid, is that what you meant by 'he-mistress'?), which would be so awesome that words could not describe but it would never ever happen on network TV. Sadly.

Date: 2007-04-27 11:41 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] bronzejarith.livejournal.com
yes. he = male. would be so awesome. :D oh we can dream~

From: [identity profile] ria-oaks.livejournal.com
Mmm, if only... but it'll sadly never happen on network TV. Only gay characters can be guest stars and minor recurring characters. -_- (because evidentally there's no such thing as bisexuality)
