GAH. SHUT THE FUCK UP PEOPLE IT'S EXAM TIME. QUIET HOURS ARE IN EFFECT. SOME PEOPLE BY WHICH I MEAN ME HAVE EXAMS TOMORROW.

GOD.

I told them to be quiet, politely, and they're still talking loudly and drinking out there. Yes, it's Friday night. No, that doesn't matter in exams because there are exams on Saturday. At least 2 of us here have exams, and I was under the impression that the girl making all the noise (she has FIVE friends over and they're talking loudly and drinking and playing cards and shit) had an exam tomorrow as well. Guess she doesn't care that much if she fails.

FUCK.

I finally get down to studying, and they won't shut up. Evidently me asking them to be quiet doesn't mean a thing. If they're still there when I go to bed, I'm gonna flip out at them. But politely, cuz I'm just that lame and I don't like to yell at people.

Also, I don't fucking get this goddamned poem. Fucking POETRY. *seethes* I hope I can avoid answering a question about this poem on the exam. Should be able to, based on how the exam's set up...

shutupshutupshutUP. *sigh* No point saying anything again, it won't help. Hopefully they won't be there for long.

But geez, guys are loud. 4 of them and 2 girls, and admittedly Linds is pretty loud but NOT AS LOUD AS THE FOUR GUYS. GOD.

Okay, whining over. But honestly, it's very inconsiderate of them, and it pisses me off that telling them to be quieter made no difference.

Eh, not gonna bother at this time of night. Only planning to study for another 30-40 min, anyway. Just pisses me off that they're so inconsiderate. They're a bit quieter now, anyway.

you could go to the school. You can use a seminar room 24 hours a day for studying. The trick is getting in before the doors are locked (or knowing someone in computer science with swipe access [all of them])

Nah, it's too late at night. I'm only planning to get another 30-40 minutes of studying in, anyway. Which is why I'm not screaming at them to shut up (well, just on my LJ XD). Anyway, campus is too far away and I'm pretty sure East Academic is locked by now. Tim Hortons would be a theoretical possibility if it were earlier and I wanted to bother; the background noise of coffee shops generally doesn't bother me and makes for a fairly good study environment (sometimes, anyway).

Heh. I will tomorrow; the exam's at 2, so I have some time. I don't have too much left to do, anyway, and I'm not too worried. Mostly I'm just annoyed at how blatantly inconsiderate it is of them to be making so much noise the night before people have exams (and she KNOWS that I and shoebox_of_lies (other housemate) have exams tomorrow. and I thought she did, too...).

yes, I understand completely. I have lived in res before also. My village roommates were the WORST for that, dropping shit outside my bedroom door and waking me up every single hour when I had an 8 am exam the next day (they were done)..

Christ, that must've been annoying. I would've flipped. Actually, I probably wouldn't have said much because I'm too damned passive aggressive and I suck at yelling at people. I'd just rant in my room. And ask politely. Sigh. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so damned nice. XD

Though I did just hear my housemate tell the others not to yell, which I appreciate. Not stopping them, of course.. but at least she's taking some note of the fact that I need to study. Not that I'm doing much of it now, granted, what with writing these comments and talking on MSN...

They're slowly leaving... they're still talking loudly, though. I'm heading to bed soon, so if they're still being loud in about 15-20 minutes I'm going to tell them to be quiet again.

It annoys me how inconsiderate it is of her to have 5 friends over and getting drunk on an exam night... yeesh.

It's annoying because space is limited, and some people who are fortunate enough to get in don't appreciate their situation, and don't have consideration for others who do. It's quite immature and they really shouldn't be in university if they aren't ready to take it seriously.
