End of term, randomness, and fucking rain.

I have no computer right now... -_- Lindsy borrowed my computer charger (she left her's at home last weekend and we have the same computer), and now it's in her room, she hasn't been home since last night (unless she got back super late), and my computer's completely out of juice. -__- So now I'm sitting in the computer lab on campus checking email and shit until 11, when I have to head up to the PCUL office to watch several episodes of various cop shows as a refresher for the take-home exam which is due Monday. Because I remember fuck-all about most of the shows we watched... ^^;

Plus I'm SOAKING wet still, because it's pouring out there and my jeans are practically soaked through. And now I have to sit in them for hours to watch TV. -_- Should have brought a change of pants in my backpack. ^^

Anyway, YAY all my term papers are done! Finished the last one yesterday at 2:30 and was again ridiculously late for my class (though this time no Meloni to make my day better. XD Just some documentary on witchcraft... which was admittedly fairly interesting). Spent last night completely relaxing - needed a mental break before I delve into exams. My computer died about 9:00, so I ended up spending the evening playing video games for the first time in AGES. Decided to pull out Shadow Hearts 2 and actually try to finish it - I've been in the final dungeon for over a year cause I haven't touched it. Got through the dungeon, now just have to get through the final scenes and the final boss. Prob will do that Monday evening as a break after my take-home exams are over and before I start studying for my 2 normal exams. Assuming there's no strike, of course, and we actually have them...

Less than 2 weeks and I'm home! Looking forward to seeing ya'll again... we'll have to make plans to get together soon when I get back (though I might be up at Bowen quite a bit - I called my old boss and asked if she needs help at the video store, and she said she'd get back to me. So I might be working there over the holidays - really need the money.). Also need to make plans for my birthday. XD

Fuck I'm wet and uncomfortable. -_- Really wish I'd brought my sweatpants... *sigh* Hopefully these'll dry out over the next few hours, cause I don't want to trek back to QV just to grab pants. ^^ And anyway, after another trip there and back I'll be completely soaked and will probably need a change of everything. ^^

Are you sure your roommate locked her door? Maybe you can just go in and take it.

I considered doing that. XD I did that when we went to Canada's Wonderland and stood in the soak zone 4 times - we spent about 20 minutes in front of the hair driers drying off. I might do that... they're a bit drier now, at least.

I haven't tried, but I don't feel right about going into her room without permission. If she isn't aroudn when I get back later, well... I'll see then. ^^; I just really hope she didn't go home for the weekend. I doubt she would've, but... o.o

I'm sure should wouldn't mind if you're just taking your cord so your laptop works. I mean, in some cases it's a total breach of privacy, in others, not so much.

I've been trying to explain this to my friend greg who wouldn't go in his roommate's room to get back the video game he wanted to play (it was accidentally taken into the room). Even when his roommate got back he was like "why didn't you just go take it?"

Yeah, I just tried but her door's locked. ;_; And she went home for the weekend! I can't fucking believe it. I didn't expect her to be so damned unthinking and irresponsible. Fortunately one of my other roomates has the same type of charger (what a coincidence, eh? 3 out of 4 of us have the same type of computer..) so I can borrow it for a bit, and hopefully I'll be able to borrow it on and off over the weekend to recharge... but mostly I'm just gonna have to live in the computer commons. ;_; Why does this have the happen the weekend I have 2 assignments due...?

Yeah... I'm surprised that she'd do that. I keep thinking that I'm hallucinating and the charger's actually in my room somewhere, but no, I'm positive she has it. I distinctly remember her having it at 5 last night, and her saying "I'm going out for awhile, do you need it back right now?" and I said no, cause my computer was almost fully charged, then she went out, then I was out most of the evening, got back, and I suppose she must've returned then left for home while I was out. gah.

Though all things considered, I suppose it does say something about today's society that the idea of having no computer for a weekend sends me into a state of shock, horror, and anger. XD Wouldn't be as bad if I didn't have the assignments due... and face it, I'm an addict. ^^
