SNOW. And Farscape.

It just snowed. In October. It didn't last long and was pretty light, but still. Snow. In October.

What have I gotten myself into?? ;__;

On the plus side, everyone here is surprised as well, so I think it's just a random anomaly and we won't see anymore snow for awhile. Still, it's starting to get cold and the wind here is a lot colder than in Vancouver. I need to go get my winter clothing soon. I'm scared. o.o

I'm watching Farscape right now on A Channel... 1.19 'Nerve' is on - first Scorpius episode! It's an awesome episode, and I love going back and watching it now that I've seen the rest of the series. It's great seeing Scorpius and John meeting for the first time, the Aurora Chair, the setup for everything that's going to happen... So much in the series goes back to this episode, and to "A Human Reaction" (which I also watched on Monday). And damn, I love Wayne Pygram. The first shot of Scorpy is great - just standing there looking all sinister.

Ooh, and here's Stark's first appearance... 'my side, your side'. Good times.

Okay, commercial break now. I should really be working. ^^; I've been trying to get through the readings for my fandom presentation on Tuesday. They're making my head spin. How can they take something that I've been interested in and involved in for years, and know plenty about, and make it confusing and boring??

Commercials over. And fuck, it's snowing again! Heeeelp. :(

It's not even raining here :( I feel so ripped off.

I've found that the first snowfall usually occurs on or near halloween. And it's ALL DOWNHILL FROM THERE.

Bleh, I love snow; we don't get enough of it here.

By the way, I picked up those DVDs this morning before I went to class. They were filming, but I just walked up to the mailbox and took them...;o

I like snow, too, but I'm scared of the amount we're going to probably get. Plus the freezing cold temperatures that will accompany it. Plus the fact that it lasts for monthes instead of weeks. Still, I am looking forward to at least the first couple of weeks with heavy snow, before I start to get sick of it.

Oh dear. ^^ Didn't they say anything...? I mean, it's insane there when it's filming; there are people everywhere. Oh well, glad you got them. Go watch now. XD The series really hits it's stride ~ep15-16, I'd say. The ep I was watching today is part 1 of the first 2-parter the series did (1X19-20), and it really set the bar higher for the rest of the series. It just keeps getting better from here on out... (except for 1X21, which kinda sucks. go figure.)

I love the cold, really. Freezing temperatures give me a reason to make some tea and wrap myself up in this big fur pelt I have. The only thing I lack is a fireplace. :/

Well, no, they weren't. I figured the ";o" would have tipped you off. ;p I probably won't get around to watching Farscape until, maybe November. That month is pretty light for me in terms of school work; but then again, finals are right in the first two weeks of December, so maybe not. :/

I like being inside & warm when it's cold outside as well, it's nice, but I hate actually being cold. It's nice coming in from the cold, but in the meantime I have to be freezing my ass off in negative 10 weather and 3 feet of snow. I get cold easily. ^^ I tend to spend most of winter wrapped in a blanket with my heating pad...

Yeah, whenever you get a chance. I know school's getting pretty busy now. Lucky your November's light - I have 4 term papers, 2 presentations, and a test in November. -_- Of course, I don't have any midterms in October, so..
