bk635 - do you want to watch
Firefly then go see
Serenity at the Pacific Cinematheque on June 24th? They're screening it for charity and Joss Whedon's birthday. It'll give you a chance to see it on the big screen, instead of just on TV... and I'm hoping to go, but I want someone to go with. Plus I need to order tickets asap. You've got almost two weeks, so if you want to watch through the show soon then we could go (and it'd give you incentive to watch. ^_^)
Here's the info:
http://serenityscreeningvan.blogspot.com/Anyway, think about it. You may not get another chance to see it in the theatre, so...

Date: 2006-06-14 07:13 am (UTC)And heh, yeah, after FF we'll work on Farscape. XD If you want, anyway. But imo it's definitely worth watching, plus at least it got 4 seasons instead of just 14 episodes... it was still a TV travesty that it was cancelled, though. Damned networks cancel everything good. -_-

... ... ...yes, I have no life.

Date: 2006-06-15 04:42 am (UTC)I'm addicted to chocolate-covered almonds. I swear to god, best thing ever.
Today, I also figured out who would win in a match between Jesus and Moses. My conclusion is very solid.

Date: 2006-06-15 04:44 am (UTC)Mmm, chocolate covered almonds... don't tempt me...
Okay then, who would win?

Date: 2006-06-15 04:49 am (UTC)Basically, if Jesus were to fight against Moses, the fight would result in a stalemate.
You see, Moses is a prophet, so he would be able to predict, and therefore circumvent, any move that Jesus would make.
Jesus' special ability, on the other hand, is to come back from the dead. So essentially, Moses would never be able to kill Jesus. Jesus also wouldn't be able to kill Moses, because that would be a violation of the Ten Commandments.
So the fight wouldn't really go anywhere.

Date: 2006-06-15 05:07 am (UTC)I'm supposed to be preparing for a mock interview with Mom in preparation for my interview at the gallery on Monday... I'm having trouble thinking up good proof stories (ie. how I reacted in an emergency) because every time I think of something stressful that happened at work, I didn't actually handle it well. -_- Not a good sign... *sigh*

Date: 2006-06-15 06:58 am (UTC)Had the mock interview awhile ago; it went pretty well. It's kinda weird pretending you don't know your mom while she interviews you. ^^ I'm more confident now, though, I think, so hopefully the interview will go okay.

Date: 2006-06-16 04:42 am (UTC)And hey, organizing favourites/computer folders/etc is one of my favourite ways of doing nothing important while still feeling productive. XD Great for procrastinating during exams.

Date: 2006-06-16 04:53 am (UTC)I need to do that too. But apart from my computer and my box of video games, I don't really have anything to get rid of..maybe a couple of board games or something that I threw in my closet when I moved in and never looked at again. My Mom wants to buy me a new set of furniture, even though I'm really indifferent about it. She has this obsessive need to upgrade my room (and my Dad's), even though she's never in it, so the house 'looks nice'. So who am I to argue? *shrug*
