Quick update!

I meant to post before I left, but I was too lazy didn't get a chance. So, here I am posting from Gatwick Airport in London because I have several hours to wait for my flight to take me to Edinburgh... flight here was good - I had an emergency exit seat, which meant tons of room! ^__^ I'm tired, though. It's almost 12pm here, but it's about 4am my time and I didn't sleep much on the plane. Oh well. I'll crash when I finally get to bronzejarith's place.

Not much to say... I'm going to try to make periodic posts - I think we have Internet access at the campsites we're staying at. This is the first time I've ever travelled alone - exciting and kinda scary. ^^ I can't believe I'm actually doing this... it was all just so rushed, finishing my exams on Monday, packing Tuesday, and leaving Wednesday. Meep. Oh well, I'm here now at least. :)

Okay, not much time left before I have to pay more, so that's it for now. Will post again sometime soon. :)

Thanks. :) I'm having a great time in Edinburgh so far - it's really pretty here, and anyways, my ancestry is Scottish only a few generations back... Cecilia showed me around yesterday, and I've been off on my own today. Seen most of the major sights. Off to Italy tomorrow...

Well, Vancouver's beautiful too, just in a different way. We've got the mountains and all the other natural beauty, and Europe's got the culture/old buildings... The countryside here is beautiful too, though. Still, I wouldn't really compare them; they're too different. I love Vancouver for what it is. :)

But yeah, it's great being here. XD Really warm and beautiful. Today's our 3rd full day in Florence, and our 2nd down in the actual city (our campsite's about 40 minutes outside the city). Yesterday was just a walking tour; today we went to St. Croce (big church. We talked about early Renaissance art, and Michelangelo's tomb is also there which is pretty cool.) and the Baptistry. Now we have a bit of free time, so I'm in an internet cafe with some of the others. We're heading back to the campsite fairly soon, then I have to write my first journal entry. Damn, I actually have to do work. XD
