On unrelated note: I learned the rest of the form today! Since it was basically the same thing on the opposite side, it didn't take long. I'm still confused on the weapon's form, though...
Ah..Good for you; it's also good to hear that they've started teaching it already. I remember going over the second half once with Graham, but there were these little pieces of it that didn't really make sense when I did them on the opposite side.
I've pretty much forgotten whatever I learned of the weapon's form that evening. -_- I could probably pick it up after a quick refresher, though..
I don't know if I'll be able to make it this week (finals), so if you go again this week do me a favor and tell them that I'll be back around next week due to school. Although I may be able to make it this Friday; however, I might be waay too tired and burnt out to even bother going. Fucking Cap. just had to put my math final on the day after my chemistry final. Jesus. :|
Well, unfortunately 'teaching it' is a bit of a stretch... ^^; They just stuck all the 2nd degrees up on the top floor and had us work on our form in shifts, and some of other students helped to show me the 2nd half. It wasn't too hard; I just had to adjust to doing the form on the opposite side and figuring out what foot goes where etc.
What days are your exams? I won't be going again this week (Arts County Fair (aka the giant campus-wide concert/beer garden used as an excuse to get drunk after classes are finished) )Friday, followed by recovery from ACF on Saturday). Next week I'll see, but it'll probably be a lot of frantic exam studying. Week after, maybe on Friday - Tues/Wed the 19th/20th I have exams (2 on the 19th... ;_;), then the next week I have two more on Mon/Tues the 25th/26th. Still, I'll try to go a few times over the exam period; it's a good break from studying. Theoretically gets the mind going... Good luck on your exams. ^_^
