^__^ Yeah. How're you doing? How's school? What's SFU like, anyway? I'd actually originally planned to go there, but UBC had a program that I was interested in and I admit that I found the SFU campus very.. grey. I'm curious what the perspective of the campus is from someone actually going there.

Oh, and btw I've decided not to go to Anime North... :( I realized that I just can't afford it. Hopefully I'll at least get to Anime Evolution in August. ^^;

I guess I'm one of the rare few who don't mind the grey. ^__^; I tend to try and avoid the sun whenever possible, so grey works for me. LOL And it's nice to not have to rush around, because my classes all seem to be in one area. :D My biggest complaint might be the transportation, but that would be the same for any school I go to. >_< I need to dorm, obviously. I'll consider it when my money tree grows up and I have extra to spend.

I don't think my "poor" status will take me to AN, either. >_< Still wishing and hoping something might come up, but the reality's looking pretty bleak. I'm still aiming for Anime Expo, and Anime Evolution is a definite. :D

How have you been? :D I know I'm certainly trying my best to procrastinate my way through term papers *stares blankly at list of to-do's* and wondering what I'm going to write.

Heh. Yeah, I have to rush halfway across campus some days to get to my class in the 10-minute period... And the fact that SFU's mostly all in one building must have its advantages in the winter. *hates the cold* Commuting must suck - how far do you have to commute every day? I'm in Res, which is nice, cause the commute from North Van is about an hour...

In general, I've been fine. Right now I'm frantic, as my recent posts have indicated. O.o;;; Soci paper due tomorrow at 11. And I have a looong way to go on it. I don't want to have to pull an all-nighter, but I might - at least there's a 24-7 McDonalds out here if I get really hungry and desperate at 2am. ^_^;; Good luck on your term papers.

Hm, from Phibbs I've found that it's pretty much exactly one hour (that's what Translink says, too). And it doesn't take long to get from my house to Phibbs. Still sucks, though...

It depends on when you take the bus. Like if I take in off-peak hrs, there are more transfers and waiting times. But if I take in on-peak hrs, more traffic. So it evens out more or less in the end.

True. I've taken it a few times in the morning and it's been okay, but it does depend on the traffic and I haven't really commuted enough to know.
