Hmm, so certain aspects of FMA ep51 got me thinking about a certain character, which led to disturbing thoughts about a certain movie, which led to this... One spoiler for ep51, though it's a pretty big one. ^^

Okay, so Roy post-51? Totally ripe for pirate jokes, right? Which led me to be like, "OMG Roy is Captain Jack Sparrow!" even though okay, Jack doesn't have an eyepatch. So then I'm like, "omg, it kinda works... especially if Ed is Will. Then it really works, and it's really fucking disturbing." So, here's my character breakdown which I'm writing down mainly so I don't forget and because I'm insane:

1. Roy Mustang = Captain Jack Sparrow ("It's Fuhrer Roy Mustang!") And then I can't stop picturing Roy a. dressed like Jack, and b. swaggering around drunkenly (and gay-ly, if that's a word), like Jack. And coming onto Ed.

2. Edward Elric - William Turner (cause hello, UST w/ Roy/Jack... and the relationship between them kinda fits - the dislike and anger that Will feels towards Jack and the general amusement that Jack feels towards him in return, slowly moving towards mutual respect... yeah. Plus, you know, hot.)

3. Winry Rockbell - Elizabeth Swann (I was sadly tempted to think of Al for this role, and I'm sitll considering it... which okay, means Elcricest which I'm not really into, but I'm not hugely against it so why not. :P :P But Winry's sorta like Elizabeth and if one ships Ed/Winry (which I don't, not particularly - I'm fairly ambivilant on Ed/Winry VS Al/Winry at the moment.) then it's fairly accurate.

4. Scar - James Norrington (I was trying to think of a Norrington, then it hit me: Scar = killing all state alchemists, Norrigton = killing all pirates. Coupled with the Roy/Ed character pairings, it works disturbingly well.)

5. Fuhrer Bradly/Pride - Captain Barbossa (it sorta works... okay, so it's kinda the other way around (since Barbossa usurped Jack), but oh well. ^^)

6. Hohenheim Elric - Bootstrap Bill Turner (with the whole Hohenheim-Dante-Homonculus relationship, I figure it sorta works. Plus obviously his being Ed's father. ^_^)

7. Riza Hawkeye - that girl that was part of Jack's crew that had a former relationship with him... can't remember her name. ;_; But she was pretty kick-ass, so yeah. ^^

8. Breda and Fury - Pintel and Ragetti. Hey, it works. Kinda. :P Not sure about Fury=Rags, though Breda=Pintel is pretty accurate, imo. But I didn't think that Havoc (or Falman, for that matter) really fit Rags. ^^;;

*realizes she forgot Hughes* *cries* Umm... I guess what's-his-face (haven't seen the movie for awhile...); the guy who got together the crew for Jack and Will, who Jack met with in the tavern near the beginning. Can't figure out who else. ;_;

Which leaves me with Governor Swann, various pirates, and actually I think that's all, on the PotC side, and on the FMA side the main one missing is poor Al. ;_; And Havoc, and all the other Sins, but I'm not sure who they'd be. The other pirates, I guess. And various other supporting characters, of course.

Okay, so that's where my mind was tonight. Dear lord. -_- And I am so totally going to end up drawing this, I can already tell. Weee, this'll be fun. ^_^
