I'm back. I'm tired. ;_; And strangly enough I'm having some trouble re-adjusting to a normal keyboard after the Japanese ones. -_- Anyway, flight from Narita Airport to Seattle was ~8h 20m, then 1.5 of so hours in Seattle, then a 30min or so flight up to Vancouver. Where there was a huge lineup to get through customs. ^^;; Anyway, the main flight wasn't bad, since we were on the bulkhead and thus had far more legroom than the normal seats. Watched "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", which was confusing and weird enough without the added difficulty of trying to hear it properly on the plane (why on earth don't they give you the option of subtitles? That'd be very helpful...), and Galaxy Quest which I'd seen before but is still amusing in a very silly way, and Alan Rickman is still awesome. Also Robin Sachs is in it, though he was in full makeup and even his voice sounded completely different. ^^
Glad to be home now. Have unpacked most of the presents to show to Dad; unfortunately there's one little thing I can't find anywhere, but hopefully it'll show up... Got a CD in the mail from Nimbus 2003 which made me go *blink*; am going to stick it into my comptuer soon and see what it is... pretty cool, anyway. ^^
Will write up a full detailed account of the trip (theoretically) later, as well as possibly a list of all the shit I bought (except what I bought for you guys, cause I don't want to ruin the surprise, obviously. ^_^). Think I spent ~$400... ^^;;
Ugh, am v. tired. It's early tomorrow morning Japan time right now, and according to my body I've been up all night, even though here it's the afternoon and is the same time as when I left yesterday. O.o Confusing and tiring. ^^;; Want to see everyone soon, so I'll get ahold of you guys later... too tired to concentrate right now.

Date: 2004-08-05 01:04 am (UTC)Oh, okay, that's fine. I just assumed that more movies would be showing in the evening, but I'm sure most of them have matinees, too. I'll check tomorrow morning.
