Scheduling woes and insomnia. -_-

Uuuuuugh... my schedule plans got skewered again tonight when I found out that another one of the courses I planned to take has filled up. Now stuck finding 6 credits worth of shit to take. And I need to register tomorrow (today, technically...) morning at 8. And I really can't sleep... *sighs* So, need two of the following courses that I've narrowed it down to:
1. Visual Arts 182 (drawing course; only the evening course has seats left, it's on Monday evenings in term 1.) I'm not really sure if it'll be any good, though, or what kinds of drawing we'll be doing. I want to learn figure drawing and draw from models and stuff, but I don't know what other stuff we do, or even if we do much of that.
2. Film Studies 220 - Hollywood Cinema 1930s-1960s. Could be interesting, and there's no pre-req. Times work out well. And I'm woefully lacking in knowledge of classic films of that period.
3. Anthropology/Sociology 201 - Ethnic Relations (as far as I can tell they're both the same course, but one's in Anthropology and one's in Sociology. Not sure what kinds of differences there are in the courses? But the have the same description). Might be interesting. The section I'd probably take (the other one would be difficult, since I have a class right after it and the buildings are freaking miles apart) has the same prof as my Sociology 100 course, but she's supposed to be v. good. I hope. ^^;;
4. Theatre 100. Possibly, however it conflicts with my Sociology 100 discussion group, which I'd then have to either A. move to 8 AM, or B. move to a later time slot which would be fine except it's before another class which, like the above, is a long way from the building the Soci 100 discussion group is in. Siiiigh... Theatre might be interesting, though - afaik you just watch a lot of plays and discuss them and shit. ^^;; Mom took it years ago and she really liked it. And according to her, and based on the course description, I think it's fully theory, no (god forbid) acting. :P
And... guess that's it. Possibly my other science credit? Or maybe Anthropology 100? (
rainbowpegacorn, what was that course like? Think it's worth taking? What did you study?)
Should really, really get to bed now, since have to be up early tomorrow and I've been tired the last few days.. shit, wish I wasn't working on Wednesday.

Date: 2004-07-13 11:56 pm (UTC)When's your registration date? Do you have a general idea of what you're taking? I know I had a lot of trouble and lots of stress over what to take (see this post. ^^;;), but I eventually worked it out well enough, I guess... but you'd best hurry; things are filling up. Hey, take the Film 220: Hollywood Cinema 1930s-60s with me. :P It'll give you one comparatively relaxing course, and it'd be fun to take it together. ^^ Though not many spaces left.
i missed u already.

Date: 2004-07-14 12:49 am (UTC)Did you realize that we got into a car with a driver that had just consumed alcohol? I know his immunity is probably way higher than mine, but still, I thought nothing of it at the time. Hm.. :/
Fun day though.. Pool could've been a lot more fun had it not been so hot, though. And my cell phone prank was just golden. :D

Date: 2004-07-14 12:52 am (UTC)Fun for the most part, yeah. Jason's constant barrage of innuendos directed at me is getting very tiring, but other than that fun. And that cell phone prank was evil. :P Brilliant, though. Heh. I was seriously wondering and a bit worried after awhile. *smirks* You totally enjoyed that, didn't you? ;P
