Happy Lost Day!!

This is it! Just five and a half more hours... I can't believe it's really the end! I've been watching the show for 5 years (came in mid-s1), and while it's had its ups and downs I stuck with it to the end... lost much of my interest it in s3-4, but regained it in s5. I'm mostly unspoiled for the finale, other than a couple of casting spoilers. Let's hope it's good! 6 years of mysteries and mind fucks all leading up to this... I suppose that, at least, I can confidently say that no one would have imagined where the show would go, way the hell back in season 1. There were so many possibilities back then, and who could have foretold the Dharma Initiative and Jacob and the MiB and everything else?? Simple times. :) ABC was airing the pilot last night and I caught the first few minutes (seen it too many times, so I turned it off). It really was a hell of a pilot (I read it cost $12 million to film - wow! That's more than some films...). And I still lol at Jack running back and forth across the beach being all hero doctor!Jack and helping people. XD (and Boone with the pens! Oh, Boone. Good times.)
Aww, I'm getting kinda choked up thinking about it ending... for all that I've gotten frustrated with the show over the years, and lost some of my initial interest, I've stuck with it and still have a deep fondness for it. And a deep desire to find out WTF will happen, heh. Here's hoping they don't kill too many characters! :)
(also: *points to icon* This is what I want to see happen tonight, dammit! They have to meet in the sideways!verse, then remember their island selves and have a tear-jerking reunion and then go out for coffee. *nods*)
