How Not To Study For Finals
Dec. 6th, 2004 04:14 pm*eyeroll* So, it's 4:00 on the day before my first exam, and what have I accomplished today?
- approx. 1.5 hours of studying
- went to Staples and bought new mouse for left hand (piece of junk, but it was only $16), ink for printer, and pack of cheap pens for exams.
- ate lunch in SUB.
- got back ~2, since then have:
- cleaned most of room
- rearranged desk to make studying easier (have moved monitor off to side of desk - makes using computer even worse ergonomically than normal, but at least I have space on my desk to work for once).
- t00bed around online
*looks at above list* *looks at time* Bloody hell... -__- Well, I've gotten through most of my English for tomorrow, but that doesn't mean that I'm actually anywhere near ready. I'm going to back up outlines for possible essays based on various themes - or at least write down ideas for several works/periods based on some of the common themes in the course. I'm hoping to get together with another girl on my floor, who's in my class, and go over some ideas. I'd like to read her essays while I'm at it, since she wrote on different works than I did. ^^
Tomorrow my mom has her exam, too - for her MBA. She's been panicking for, oh, several months. ^_^;; But damn, compared to me? She does so much studying that it's scary - granted, she has ~900 pages to get through and memorize on her own, but still. She has hundreds of cards with questions written on them, god knows how many notes... it's quite remarkable. ^^
Haven't even started studying for my other courses - I'd like to do a bit of Astro today, but not sure if that'll actually happen. I hate that almost all my exams are crammed into the first week... ;_;
