Hmm, [livejournal.com profile] bronzejarith - I'm looking through the course listings to find a possible alternative to my film course so I can switch English 221 sections, and Asia Studies 101 would work (and there's 1 free space) - did you take that one last year? Is it worth taking? Was it interesting? I'm not sure that I really want to take it, but it's hard to find another course to take that a. I want to take, b. works in my schedule, and c. has some spaces available. Least priority is on the last, since I could always go talk to the prof. The Eng course I want is full, too, but I talked to my prof after class today and she said that if I email her she'll put me on the waiting list. But I can't seem to find anything good that fits into my schedule... ^^ Asia 315 (Japan from Feudal to Modern State) could be a possibility (no pre-reqs), but it's from 8-9:30 in the morning. ;_; *checks ratemyprofessors.com* Huh, the prof for that only has one rating and it's a bad one. ^^;;

Anyway, let me know if you think Asian Studies 101 is worth it. I'm trying to avoid 100-level courses, but...

Back... already. Ended up leaving about 15 minutes after getting home for the physio appointment b/c we needed to get Mom's car into Aircare before it closed. She had a meeting to get to, so Dad and I took it in and my god if he was any ruder to the poor girl at the Aircare place I was going to smack him, I swear... it's not her fault that their phone system sucks and that he thinks Aircare is worthless and expensive and blah blah blah... I kept trying to send her apologetic looks. ^^ I argued with him about it for about 15 minutes after and he still doesn't think that he did anything wrong. *sighs* Anyway, he drove me out and I got back ~6. Guess I'd better go have dinner... the menu in the caf tonight doesn't look overly inspiring.

*stares at clock* Bugger, it's 11pm and I still haven't finished even my first Soci reflective piece. *eyeroll* I can't focus on it, and I'm too tired... and I really want to watch Smallville. ;_; I'm going to finish up the first one right now, then I think I'll just write the 2nd one up tomorrow morning before class. *sweatdrops*

Yay, Soci reflective piece #1 done. It's barely sociological - okay, it's not remotelely sociological. I just talked about my thoughts and reactions on the issue, said some exceedingly soppy things near the end, and really said very little of actual argumentative value. Oh well. ^_^;; I'll write the 2nd one tomorrow morning. Which is probably a v. v. stupid thing to do, but I don't want to write it tonight, so...
