Vote for sexiest Buffy & Angel characters in the Official BtVS and AtS magazines!

Do I even need to say who I voted for in this? ;P Though I also stuck in a vote for Stephanie, although I'm not sure we're allowed to vote for two characters. Anyone who cares, go vote! ^_^ Okay, so I already know perfectly well who's going to win, and I'm sure most people do, but I want to see if the scales will tip far enough that god forbid he might actually not win one of these things for once. Not that James isn't gorgeous, but he's not the only sexy character on BtVS/AtS, and personally I find Wes way more attractive... And James always wins everything - I mean, he was nominated twice for best supporting actor at the Saturn Awards this year - one for Buffy, one for Angel. He's a good actor, but honestly...

In other news, work=tiring. Me=tired. Working tomorrow 4-8, then hopefully going to go see Farenheit 9/11 in the evening. Have a feeling it's going to leave me feeling even more scared about Bush/the U.S./the general state of the world than I already am. Still, looking forward to it. Heh. Also, the name makes me laugh out of principal - anyone else here read Farenheit 451? Good book. Creepy. Good movie, too... ^^

Speaking of movies, suddenly there are several I want to see - want to see Two Brothers (I can't resist the cuteness of baby tigers! *sob*), The Notebook (supposed to be suprisingly good), Spiderman 2 when it's out on Wednesday... and I think there was something else that came out today, some small movie with Ewan McGregor in it which sounds disturbing and creepy, thus I'm curious. ^^ Also rather want to see Stepford Wives, though I hear the original's better and far more horrifying (this one's supposed to be more comedic, which given the subject matter is kinda disturbing. O.o). And I heard The Terminal's good, so maybe that too... yikes, there goes many evenings and a ton of money. O.o Well, we'll see... first on the list is Farenheit 9/11, of course. ^_^ Which reminds me, I've yet to see the 1st half of Bowling for Columbine - I came in half-way through when my parents were watching it, and never got around to going back to watch the beginning.

Am working 11:30-8 on Tuesday. That's going to suck. At least on evening shifts it gets quiet at the end so you don't have to do anything. ;P I'm working most of next week, actually - they're finally scheduling me in more. I've got Monday and Wednesday off, presumably b/c I put in those evenings as required time offs due to TKD. Though Monday night I'll most likely stay home to watch the election once I've voted. I'm so very nervous about this... *sigh* I've gotten used to taking Canada's freedom and liberalism for granted, and now that may be essentially pulled away from us if the Conservatives get in and we become Mini-U.S.A. Except, you know, not technically mini given that we're a hell of a lot bigger country area-wise than them. *grins*

Enough rambling. So tired. ;_;

Went to see Farenheit 9/11 tonight but it was sold out. :( There was a huge line-up to get into the theatre, too. We're hopefully going to go on Wednesday since I'm not working, and we're going to prob go to Metropolis. Problem with Esplanade, aside from it being small and icky, is that there's only one theatre showing the movie, whereas chances are Metropolis will have 2-3. Will likely go to late show so I can go to TKD... and hopefully going to TKD on Monday, too, since Mom pointed out to me that the election results won't start coming in until ~8-9, since I think the polls close here at 8 and obviously ours will be the last to close. I'm excited about being able to finally vote, but damned nervous about the election itself... *sighs* It's going to be even worse in November, especially because I won't be able to vote in that one. I mean, granted for us this one's sort of more important since it impacts us directly, but overall I think the American one in November is far more important period, given the reprecussions it'll have on the rest of the world, us included.

And that's about the extent to my ability to make "deep political thoughts" at the moment. Talk to me again after I've seen Farenheit 9/11. ^^;;
