Well... Not sure if the get-together's going to happen anymore. bronzejarith and caspertheghost aren't coming, and as it is I'm having trouble figuring out when we can have it and if Jason and morgandy can come, so unless anyone really wants to do it still, then I guess that's it. Hopefully some of us can get together at some point or another and do stuff; I dunno, go to a movie or something... Troy comes out next week, if anyone wants to see it.

*drools* So excited. :P If you didn't know, ABC (ch21) is airing HP: PS right now, and they're going to air a 10-minute preview of PoA at the end (it ends at 11, so check ~10:40-45 for the preview). I already saw the preview online, since it's aired back east, and very cool. ^_^

And yeah, we should def all go together... my mom may or not come; she wants to see it, but she might be away that day. Either way I definitely want to get tickets ahead of time and get there v. early on opening day. And costumes! :P

I wanna make a Hogwarts school uniform.

Yeah, me too. At Nimbus 2003 there were lots of people with full, movie-version Hogwarts uniforms for varying houses (mostly Gryff and Slyth, as usual), complete with skirt/pants, sweater, tie, robe, and crest. Very cool. I'd love to make one like that... shouldn't be too hard. Lesse, grey knee-length skirt, knee-high grey stockings, black shoes w/ a strap (ie what Hermione wears), grey sweater-vest (theoretically with the house colour on the trimming, but that might be pushing it... ^^), white shirt, the tie (again, might be hard, but I guess if you could find the right kind of fabric you could make one), and of course the robe. The robe I have is pretty flimsy and kinda sad, but I like it. ^^ You could make a more sturdy and heavy one, though.

Okay, that's Hogwarts Uniform Making 101. :P We should make some.. Don't know what house I'd make. Maybe I'd just do the entire uniform as a general one (no trimming on the sweater-vest and I guess no crest), then just have several different house ties. :P

Isn't it a grey skirt?

Vest you could probably buy; at least a grey sweater if you couldn't find the vest. Tie'd be hard. Crests you can buy online, or do what I did - print out a picture of it and glue it onto cardboard then glue the cardboard onto the robe.... and I just tape different versions of the crest over the cardboard when I want to change houses.

All I need are the robe, vest, crest and tie. *sigh* I wish I can sew..
