Random FFX-ness

Wee, I won my first Blitzball tournament! :P Got the Attack Reels. Still need the Status and Auroch Reels, then hopefully I can get the Jupiter Sigil... then it's final weapon time! :P Of course, there's still the chocobo racing... *cries* Did some more today, but I find it so frustrating I can't play it much. I haven't given up yet, but... ergh. Only other way to get Break Damage Limit is to customize a weapon w/ 60 Dark Matters. You can get 99 for, I believe, capturing 10 of each monster but... doesn't that just sound fun? -_- Who knows, I might do that someday anyway if I want to fight Nemesis (hardest boss in the game), but... not betting on it. :P

Guess I should go start reading Mill's "On Liberty", which we start tomorrow. Bleh. ;_; Maybe I'll just read the summary on Sparknotes.com.

Uh.. You've cut scenes out of video files (IE: cutting scenes out of an Angel episode for that music video you were making...), right? Yeah, how do you do that?

Hmm... well, for my music vid I was using Ulead, but I don't think you can cut sections of movies with it and make new little movie files, which is what I assume you're trying to do. Check downloads.com, I'm sure there are some programs out there that do that.

Hmm... here's some potential programs I found. They're all only trials, though; you have to buy them eventually. Hunt around some more if you want and see if there's anything that's free, but I doubt it.

It's not that hard, really. I just had no clue what I was doing at first, and my team sucked, so I found it hard. Once I got a better team and got a better grasp on the game's mechanics I'm winning each game. :P As for how you won... Combination of luck, innate skill, and me telling you what to do? Dunno. ^^;; But hey, go you. I lost, ike, 3-0. -_-

*sob* Is he that bad? I've just started reading him and so far it's okay, ie I can understand it, which is a plus. -_- It's only 100 pages, at least. And there's a full summary on Sparknotes, so if I get bored... :P

*smirk* Oh, I was horrible, you should've seen me... had no clue what I was doing, even after reading the tutorial. Took quite a few games before I got a good handle on it, and I'm still now realizing things about it as I play.

Hm. Sure, I might borrow at some point. We're doing him this week, and my essay will be due in two weeks today.
