Wee! It's final dungeon time in FFX! I should probably go and prepare and all, but I want to finish the game... ;_; bk635, where are you in it?

Speaking of FFX, need to make quick comments on latest spoiler/bombshell in the game. Am also whiting out the text so anyone can reply to this without being spoiled, as per earlier request.



Pissed off that right as Auron dropped his bit bombshell people were talking loudly in the hallway, so I didn't know what he'd said. Then he's like, "there are good things about being dead", and I'm like "wtf?" so I had to go check a bloody script to find out what he'd _said_, so it... kinda lost the impact. Still. Auron! GAH! *sniff* Omg, I hope he doesn't get sent at the end of the game... but, but... then he'll be doomed to walk the earth forever and... and... this is making me sad. ;_;

And aside from THAT, why the hell did he age 10 years if he's _dead_? Look at Yunalesca - she's 1000 bloody years old and _she_ hasn't aged a day. Course, this _does_ explain why he's been wearing the same clothing for 10 years... *snerk*

Hmm, I assume Kimahri knows that he's dead, given that he was there, then. Assuming no one _else_ does, though.

Also, I assume that's when he got his scar? It wasn't really explained... maybe in one of the spheres I have to collect now for his final overdrive. *muses*

Well, looking forward to beating the game... *crosses fingers that Auron survives... well, figuratively*

I'm in the Via Pacifico (sp) trying to find out how to get the last few treasure chests and dealing with the annoyingly high battle rate.

Oh yeah, that place... check walkthroughs if you're stuck getting those; I just read my guide. *coughlazycough* ^^;; Hm, you're getting pretty far... not that many more places left to go. It's really not that long of a game. ^^ I'm at 36 hours and I'm almost at the end of the game.

I'm a little over 20. :p I'm using the largest FFX walkthrough on GameFAQs and it's easy to tell that English isn't the author's first language; some of his directions are misleading or difficult to understand.

*glares* You do and I will SO hurt you... I'm almost finished, then we can discuss liberally. I wanna finish but I think if I go into the final dungeon now I'll die.. ;_; How hard is the final boss?

Get their ultimate weapons, fill up their shpere grids with those sphere things and get ALL of the aeons, it'll make the final fight MUCH easier...

*moans* That'll take forever... especially the weapons and the sphere grids. I'll try to get all the aeons, though. But still, is it a hard fight in general? Like, going straight from the scenes before to it, at the general strength one's at at the time (I've got between 2500 and 5000 HP; Yuna or Lulu ~2500, and Auron up at 5000 with the rest in between). Auron, Tidus, and Kimahri are all finished their own sphere grids and have moved on. But I don't have Firaga/etc, Flare, Doublecast, Holy, Auto-Life, Full-Life, Ultima... all those really powerful spells. I guess I should get them? Basically, I'm pretty sure I'm not ready yet... *sigh*

Ooh, I drew Jecht while watching Angel tonight. Will scan and post this weekend.

It took me 1 try to get rid of the final boss actually. ^^;

And yes, get those spells!!!
Y'know, the characters can also learn abilities from others.
(eg. Yuna's sphere grid moving into Lulu's grid. Something like that...) So make some of your non-magic characters learn magic too.

Can't wait to see your drawing.

I know; I've got Auron in Tidus's grid, Tidus in Yuna's grid (since that was next in row to his), etc... bloody lack of level3/4 lock spheres is annoying, though. ;_;

Okay, I'll stick around in Omega Ruins and kick v. hard enemies' arses long enough to learn those... And get everyone's strength up (I'd like to get Tidus into Auron's, but I don't want to waste one of the very few Friend/Teleport/etc spheres... and it's useful having him w/ healing magic.)

So I take it the final boss isn't all _that_ hard, though? I mean, look at the other FF bosses... IX - easy. VIII - not too hard. VII - *SNORT* "Omnislash!" "Knights of the Round!" ... ... hey, he's dead. VI - pretty easy, V - pretty easy, and okay, from there down they're fucking hard, but the new ones? Pah.

Also working on a drawing of Braska, Jecht, and Auron, but it's not working out so well... and then there's my picture of Tidus as Auron's bitch. *ahem* Also need to work on my various fics... One Jecht/Auron smutfic, one Jecht/Auron & Auron/Tidus smutfic, and one Lulu/Wakka angst-schmoop fic. Possibly more to come.

Really want to see the ending... ergh.
