Brief thoughts on the Globes last night, of which I only watched half then checked the rest online - dammit, Johnny Depp lost. BLAH. Stupid people. And Ken Watanabe lost, too, which in my opinion is a bloody criminal offence after his performance in The Last Samurai... On the plus side, Frances Conroy (Ruth) won best actress in a TV drama for Six Feet Under, so go her. Ruth rocks. *grins* RotK won best drama - big surprise. ^^ So, go it... wonder if it'll get the Oscar, too? I gather the Oscar nominations are out tomorrow, so I'm excited... Also, was interested that in the commercial for tomorrow's announcement of said nominations, amid the shots of RotK, TLS, Cold Mountain, etc, was a brief clip from Pirates of the Caribbean. Wonder if it'll actual have a chance for anything? Music would be nice... ^^

Date: 2004-01-26 10:37 pm (UTC)Bill Murray (?), for Lost in Translation. Which I believe also took home best comedy and best original screenplay.
