Yeah, I agree, but it's so awesome that I don't mind. :) Shaw's PVR isn't subscription based, but it doesn't have near the functionality of the TiVo, so... Anyway, I just went for the 1-yr prepaid. I'll have to pay anyway, so might as well do it once a year and save some money.
