Yikes, didn't seem that bad up here - fucking freezing, but sunny and fairly calm. Course, I was inside almost all day, so... who knows?
Oh god, yeah, UBC in the winter is fucking freezing and windy. Least it was clear today - running across campus between classes in freezing rain and wind without an umbrella, and carrying a heavy backpack, now that's fun. ;) (okay, I had an umbrella in 3rd year - poor thing took a hell of a beating). Couldn't quite believe how cold it seemed today, anyhow - walked down to get some dinner tonight, it's like a 3-5 minute walk each way tops, and it was bloody cold. Yeesh. Least when I was in Ontario I really dressed for it and was prepared... plus it was a dry cold rather than our damp cold - oddly not as bad, even when it was downwards of -20. Course, didn't spend much time outdoors ('cept for that memorable time trekking through the snow in -10 or so weather trying to find a fucking bus because the pet store was closed and I didn't get my fish. Woe.).
...um, anyway. rambling. Office now. *goes to watch*
