I just saw the apology from Richards. It seemed pretty sincere to me.. Saying "I'm sorry" probably isn't enough though, but still.
I felt bad for him. You could easily tell he was shaken up over it and yet the audience continued to laugh at him to the point where Jerry had to step in and tell them to be quiet.
