Aye, that one assumes we have a basic survival kit. There are other guides out there that focus more on what to do in specific situations without survival gear, but I felt that one in particular gave a fair overview of a broad range of topics when it comes to desert survival.
I argued that we aren't really lost in a true sense given that we at least have a drive to find the right route. You argued that as long as we're lost, we're lost.
But really, if you're lost but not lost, a quantum singularity will most likely open up in front of you destroying the very fabric of time and space as we know it and end up swallowing the entire universe. Yuu~~~
