ria_oaksLost fall finale tonight... I'm kinda on the fence about it; on the one hand, last week's episode was frankly rather boring and I was left completely apathetic and uninvolved (though admittedly I was spoiled about the main plot point); on the other hand, tonight's ep has the best guest star ever. XD I'm definitely excited about seeing Nathan Fillion on Lost, though I kinda wish he was either on the island or in someone else's (coughSawyercough) flashback. Nevertheless, it's going to be awesome seeing him on the show - two of my favourite shows/fandoms are coming together. :) Lost seems to have become one big happy family of all my fandoms these days... Angel, Oz, Firefly, LoTR, Smallville (Boone ^^), and probably others I'm forgetting. (ETA: and Farscape! How could I forget about Wayne Pygram guest starring??) (ETA #2 (approx 2 minutes after ETA #1): Dude, I just realized that I forgot the most mind-numbingly obvious fandom crossover... Babylon 5! I can't believe I actually forgot about Mira Furlan. o.o And I'm probably going to keep thinking of more at this rate...) Too bad all the former Oz stars are gone now, though - we need to get Meloni on the show, quick. XD I think I would actually self-implode of Meloni showed up in a (Sawyer) flashback...
Sitting TV Studies right now (surprise surprise), and talking about narrative and Lost... watched a few clips from "Walkabout" earlier, and going to watch "Raised by Another" later. I already went ahead and re-watched "Raised by Another" the other day, in part so I can skip out on the screening (I have a test at 2...) and in part because I'm doing my presentation on it on Friday. And okay, so the episode is better than I remember... Claire was somewhat more interesting back then (when she actually had things to do), but I'm still not that interested in her. Maybe she'll get more interesting this season...
Yay, I think we're getting to the screening. I'm gonna get out of here and go study until 2. *sigh* I also need to start thinking about my presentation on Friday - how I'm going to work in this episode, and which others I want to work in (though I don't have my season 1 DVDs here... damn.) Okay, getting outta here now cause it's about to start. Will theoretically make a post later after Lost, and possibly write up something about Prison Break since I haven't gotten around to that yet...
