Needed new default icon... tired of the Sawyer/Sayid one, and kinda meh on the pairing now, anyway. Not enough good fics, and Sayid on the show right now is too busy being all mushy and romantic to have time for dark/angsty/violent sex with Sawyer. I love Sayid, but he's kinda boring these days - hoping next episode will change that, since it's his episode. Have gotten converted to Sawyer/Jack (and Jack-love in general) recently, meanwhile, so they're getting the spotlight for now. ^_^
All credit for the icon goes to
crystalkirk, who makes very lovely icons indeed. ;)
Tired now, off to bed. Then back to 4 more days of frantic studying... ;_;

Date: 2005-04-22 05:36 pm (UTC)Could you do me a quick favour and look for the following information on the SOCI book I left in your room?
Title
Author
ISBN #
I'm running to the bookstore for buybacks in my lunch break, and want to know how much I'll be receiving for that one. If you have any books you want to get rid of, give me the info for them and I'll ask for you as well.
Thanks,

Date: 2005-04-22 06:32 pm (UTC)Your Soci:
Title - Sociology, 1st CDN Edition
Author - Schaefer and Smith
ISBN# - 0-07-094849-6
And yeah, I've got several books I wouldn't mind your checking. ^_^ Thanks. Here they are:
My Soci: "Sociology in Our Times", 3rd CDN Ed.; Kendall, Murray, and Linden; 0-17-622319-3
Astro 310: "Voyages to the Planets" 3rd Ed.; Fraknoi, Morrison, and Wolff; 0-534-39567-8
Eng221: "The Norton Anthology: English Literature: The Major Authors" 7th Ed.; 0-393-94751-3 (doubt they need an author for this? There isn't one anyway, obviously. The editor is M. H. Abrams, just in case.
Film220: "American Cinema, American Culture" 2nd Ed.; Belton; 0-07-288627-7
And:
"The Big Tomorrow: Hollywood and the Politics of the American Way"; May; 0-226-51163-4
Theatre120: "Theater: The Lively Art"; Wilson and Goldfarb; 0-07-287218-7
Whew. ^_^ Thanks a lot, it's much appreciated. Beats lugging them all down there to find out that they're going to give me next to nothing... Not actually sure if I'm selling the 1st Film one or not, but might as well find out the price. Oh, are you checking the Reader, too? Let me know how much that's worth...

The big lesson of the day? Wait until winter, because "W" means wholesale price right now. Most of these courses are not offered now but will be in the winter. Also they are not taking the SOCI reader as of yet.
