Oh god, stop me signing up for things. ^^ I signed up for <"lgbtfest"> a few weeks ago, and am now trying to figure out how the hell I'm going to write Sheldon as FtM. ^^; Well, I've actually got the general idea for the story figured out, so now it's really just a matter of doing some research on trans issues and figuring out how to write a convincing Sheldon. o.o I'm not a writer, wtf am I doing?

ds_c6d_bigbang, aka the due South/Canadian 6 degrees big bang to do art, which is at least more up my alley. And look at this prompt!
Fandom: due South/Slings & Arrows
Pairing: Fraser/RayK
Rating: PG-13 segueing into a mild R?
Warning: Crossover, violence, animal harm (non graphic/off-camera), possible mangling of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night
Summary: After a third attempt on Geoffrey Tennant's life, dead!Oliver asks his friend, dead!Bob for help. Between the two of them, they come up with the idea of having Benton Fraser go undercover as Geoffrey in order to catch the would-be murderer. Ray Kowalski, Fraser's husband of six months, goes along as back up. What starts as a somewhat routine investigation soon turns into a chase between predator and prey. And time is running out... Danger! Intrigue! Meddling ghosts!
Dead!Oliver and Dead!Bob hanging out together! Awesome. Course, I haven't actually met RayK yet, but... I will soon. I have 4 episodes left to go of season 2, and I'm trying to prepare myself for RayV leaving. :( I mean, sure, obviously I've known from the start that he leaves, and sure I know that fandom seems to generally be pretty in love with RayK so I'm sure I'll like him, buuut... :( Gonna miss Vecchio. Anyway, once I've gotten at least a few eps into season 3 and have some kind of actual grasp on who RayK is, then I'll read the story (won't be sent to me until the 13th, anyway, and by then I'll prob be onto s3 at the rate I'm going) and hope that it doesn't have spoilers for the rest of the series... I've gotten spoiled for at least some of the things that happen in the series finale, but I'm a bit sketchy on what actually happens because I've just accidentally gleaned possible spoilers from fic summaries. I've been religiously avoiding any fic with RayK in the characters/summary, for now, but even so.
Anyway. Bottom line, yeah, I've become addicted to this show. ^^ It's kinda funny, because Mom used to watch it when I was a kid and I think she finds it pretty amusing that I'm now watching it. I haven't told her I'm reading fic for it, lol, and I suspect she'd be surprised that it's got such a big following online. Though given the amount of homoerotic subtext in the show, really...
On another note, Doctor Who today was excellent again. Really enjoying Eleven and Amy, and Steven Moffat is doing a great job. This episode definitely had a lot of his hallmarks! I wasn't at all surprised to see that he'd written it. Looks like he's writing quite a lot of s5, actually, in addition to being the exec producer. Next week looks like a lot of fun! (also, I had a nap after watching the episode and ended up dreaming about being chased by the bad guys from tonight's ep. Eeek! Those guys were creepy.)
