help_haiti offer

Yikes, it's been almost two weeks since I last posted... lazy me. :) Happy very belated New Years everyone!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I've put up an offer at help_haiti to draw chibi characters (any fandom). $5 min bid for a b&w line drawing, $10 for a coloured one. 1-2 characters for either offer. And I urge everyone to check out the community and bid or offer if you're able and willing - every little bit helps. I've got Anderson's live coverage (well, technically from 3 hours ago since it's the rerun, but anyway...) on CNN in the background right now, and it's just unbelievable. I'm glad to see fandom coming together to help, and I hope they can raise a good amount of money. There seems to be quite a few bids so far, at least...

And I know the help_haiti comm has probably popped up on everyone's Friends Lists by now, but keep spreading the word around anyway... it's not much, I suppose, but it's something.

On a more frivilous note...

Look at the Final Fantasy XIII trailer, isn't it shiny? And yet I'll probably never get to play it... I don't play enough anymore to make buying a PS3 or XBOX 360 worth it, plus there are several games on the PSP and the DS that I'm vaguely coveting and ergo I may theoretically want to buy one of those systems one day... dammit I miss the days when all the games I wanted came out on one system. :( And when I actually played regularly...

*sigh* But I waaaant it. :( This'll be the first main series FF game other than XI (which I don't really count) that I won't have played. That kinda sucks. :(
