White Collar is awesome. Go watch it.

I so very much love how there is already a nice little burgeoning fandom for White Collar. And that alongside the obvious Neil/Peter there is a definite love for Neil/Peter/Elizabeth. OT3 FTW. I've only read one fic in the fandom so far and I'm already starting to love it (great fic, too). 2 eps in (3 in the States, but we're behind and I think I'll stick with just watching it as it airs here) and this show if awesome. On just.. so many levels. Of flaily awesomeness. I loved the first episode, practically from the first few minutes with Neil escaping from prison by walking out the front door. Brilliant beginning, and it said a lot about both the show and his character that he could pull that off. ^^ And then... god, everything else about the first ep. The constant banter between Neil and Peter, and the fantastic chemistry the actors have - they play off of each other so well. Neil's hat. How quickly he found a better place to stay than that motel, and Peter's reaction. And and... I should've posted about it last week because I'm blanking on some of the awesome details. Also it's 12am and I'm tired... Anyway, the 2nd episode tonight was enjoyable too, though not as pure awesome as the pilot. I also really love the relationship between Peter and Elizabeth (the watch scene! aww) and the various scenes between Neil and Elizabeth and, yeah, OT3. :) I am tempted to download ep3, but... it's nice to watch it on TV every Friday night. ^^

And wow, there really are a lot of good new shows this year, aren't there? For the first time in years, possibly ever, I have a bunch of new shows this year. Community, Flashforward, GLEE (which my mom's also in love with), now White Collar... And the premiere of V was quite enjoyable. Also watched the first ep of Stargate Universe and liked it, so we'll see if I get around to continuing it. All in all, a remarkably good year for new shows!

*points to icon* That is Neil. In his hat. Not to be shallow, but... yeah, that's another reason I watch the show. XD I enjoyed him on Chuck, though Bryce started to get on my nerves after awhile, and I am oh so happy to see him starring in this now. He's a good actor, and also holy shit look at him. Seriously. ;)

I'd vaguely seen this picture floating around in icons, but hadn't realized that it was an official promo picture. Talk about the least subtle suggestive promo ever, lol. I mean, handcuffs. Seriously. I get the symbolism they're going for, but... it's hard not to see it a different way. XD

(great little OT3 fic here - I am definitely loving the idea of the three of them, moreso than Neil/Peter though I'd enjoy that too. But I don't want to leave Elizabeth out. :) She's awesome and clearly needs to be involved, heh.)

Just submitted two headers to the rahmbamarama header contest. :) Yeah, got a bit overexcited this time and made two. I definitely like them both better than the one I made back in April (what was I thinking with the lettering in that one? -_-). Can't post them now, but will do so once the contest is over. Wish me luck!! *is excited and determined* Well, at least my Obama chibi is still in the sidebar on the community - that makes me so happy, heh.

(also, I totally gave in and downloaded White Collar 1X03 earlier. Finally got my TiVo transferring working again and transferred the ep to my TiVo to watch over dinner. Enjoyable ep with some nice OT3 fodder. I'm very happy this show is doing so well in the ratings - it's pulling in about 5 million viewers, evidently, which for cable is very good! Yay!)
