Sep. 28th, 2009 04:32 pmWOO HOO I HAVE WORK!!!!!!! It's just temp work for 3 weeks, but still!! It's the first call I've gotten back from a temp agency, and I've been registered with various agencies for several weeks... so YAY. It's just a receptionist position at an insurance company downtown, $12/h, but it's only for 3 weeks and at least it's something. ^_____^ I go in Friday for training. Can't imagine it'll be too difficult, considering.
Also got a call today from a temp agency that I recently emailed my resume to, and I'm going in to interview tomorrow. They emailed me the tests and I'm working my way through them. So yay, things are looking up. Just need to get my assignment for my editing class done now, it's due Wednesday...
Man, over one month since I got home until I finally managed to get a measly 3 weeks of work... rather depressing, isn't it? ^^ Here's hoping the economy picks up, though it sounds like things are getting better in Canada (and to a lesser extent in the States).
