I'm talking to my parents on the phone a few minutes ago, and had this exchange: "by the way, we saw some filming signs that said 'SN' two minutes from our house [on Bowen] yesterday - wonder if that was Supernatural?" "OMG YES IT PROBABLY WAS." "Unfortunately the signs are gone now." "WUT." Okay, that was paraphrased, but you get the idea. *cries* How does this keep happening to me?? They film near our house in North Van while I'm in Australia, then they film near our house on Bowen and I'm in North Van. DUDE. *sigh* Well, now I have two episodes to watch out for...
So, in other news: I'm all moved into our new apartment! It's been crazy busy the past weekend - moved most of Dad's paintings into storage on Saturday, and moved the furniture and whatnot into the apartment on Sunday. I've been here alone since then, though parents are coming for the night tomorrow, and am gradually getting settled in. Room is mostly organized, just need to paint old bookcase (I've had it all my life and it's baby blue... otherwise is fine, so I'm keeping and painting it), put stuff in old bookcase (still have several boxes in my room of stuff to go in it), and put up posters. And get a bedside table. Living room is fairly spartan at the moment, but we got a nice rug and once we get another chair and put up some of Dad's paintings it will look better. I have my main desk out here for my laptop, and just a small one in my room for when my parents are staying here and I need to escape. ;)
Tomorrow's the first day of the intro editing course I'm taking, woo. Hopefully it'll be interesting - we'll see how it goes! Maybe I'll discover a hidden love for editing... ^^; Then Thursday is back to the old house to organize stuff for our garage sale which is happening on Sunday.
Still job searching. Less said about that, the better. -_- Working on getting registered at temp agencies, here's hoping some actually call!
Sadly have no TV at the moment - stupid Shaw hasn't come yet (they said they'd come yesterday, which admittedly seemed like a long shot since it was a holiday, but... today wasn't a holiday. -_-) Fortunately someone's left their internet connection unlocked, so I'm stealing it until I get my own. Thank god. Don't like stealing people's internet for a prolonged time, normally, but these are dire circumstances. ;)
(speaking of dire circumstances - I better have TV by Thursday night! I told Mom that if Shaw hasn't come by then, then I'm staying on Bowen that night. Not missing Supernatural for the world.)

rpf_big_bang fics the other day and have got started on one of them... yeah, I claimed two. ^^ One Jared/Jensen (marooned on a desert island together, ftw!) and one Jon/Stephen (high school AU by one of my favourite authors, ftw! They don't reveal the authors in the claims post, but I guessed the author of the pundit one and was right... can't reveal it here until the challenge reveals it, so that's all I'm allowed to say. ^^) Both fics were great, and I'm having fun with the J2 drawing.. okay, it was killing me at first because I could not get the damned pose right, but I found a reference photo online and now it's coming along nicely. Yay!
