*hyperventilates* Well that was stressful... my computer died last night, leading to a great deal of panicking. It's bad enough when it happens at home, but when it happens while staying in a little town in the middle of nowhere... well, not really the middle of nowhere, but the town's pretty small and there was nobody local to fix it. Cue me hopping on a bus to the nearest big city for over an hour and a half, where the guy I called this morning was able to fix it within about an hour. YAY success! So now I'm kinda deliriously happy and relieved and am sitting with my shiny newly fixed computer in the library near the train station waiting for my bus which leaves in about 45 minutes. Then another 1.5 hours back to where I'm staying. ^^ Oh well... Only cost me about $50 and it was fixed qiuckly, so I'm happy - last time this happened, last year on my old computer, it cost $200 and took a week. Course, it was a bigger problem then... similar problem this time, but not as drastic I guess - the harddrive just malfunctioned, but it was easily fixed and I didn't lose anything.
Oh well, at least it was nice to be in a decent-sized city for the first time in two weeks. I managed to find two pop culture stores in my wanderings, one of which had a t-shirt for sale which said "And then Buffy staked Edward. The End." Honest to god I was tempted to buy it. XD Just to ward off the inevitable Twihards that will be at Supanova (not least because two actors from the movie are guests at the con... eek! On the plus side, so is Karl Urban (Eomer in LotR, McCoy in the Star Trek reboot...). So that will be cool. :) Still hoping on some more exciting guests, though... Matthew Lewis (Neville in the HP movies) was booked but had to cancel, which was a disappointment. Oh well.)
Anyway, just glad to have my computer back. That freaked me out so bad. ;_; *clings to computer* Never leave me again!
