Mar. 13th, 2009 02:43 pm*yawn* Quiet day at work, again... and it's Friday, to boot! Next week's my last week.. wow. o.o Then I leave a week later! Still not really feeling ready, but oh well. ^^ Just hasn't really sunk in yet that I'm actually going.
Anyway - how fucking AWESOME was Jon Stewart's smackdown of Jim Cramer last night? Epic, ya'll. EPIC. The intro to the ep, the 'preparation' scene, and then Jon laying smackdown on the guy for 10-15 minutes... and while I was kinda hoping for some fisticuffs, I gotta say I just love watching Jon be so smart and articulate and passionate and completely ream both Cramer and CNBC. Beautiful. :) (and reminiscent of his Crossfire appearence, heh). Really says something, don't it, that these days it takes the comedians over on Comedy Central to call the media (and politicians) to task for their crap?
Down to North Van tonight for the weekend. Tentatively may see Watchmen tomorrow night, but really want to finish it first and am only halfway through. Gah, gotta pick up the pace!
