(no subject)

Ooh, I may be able to watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann every night after all, because MSNBC's website has every new episode available for free download and it's not limited to the US! :) Usually they are, so it's pointless checking official websites... and since it doens't air on any Canadian network... *sigh* But yeah, looks like I can download it for free (legally!) every night (or next morning, prob - not sure when they become available, and I wouldn't be watching them until the next day anyway, like I do for TDS/TCR) then transfer it to my TiVo. Quality's not as great as it would be on TV (the file's ~90 megs for a 42 min ep, so.. but I'm also downloading it on iTunes (also free! and available in Canada for once!) and it's 183 megs which should be better. Gonna test both out - not sure that I can transfer the iTunes one to my TiVo, though maybe with TiVo Desktop Plus...? Could buy that, I suppose.
