Jul. 5th, 2008 05:51 pmDUDE. The CW is airing Jeremiah now? That fills me with GLEE, because I've been trying to watch this show for years. I just was checking the TV guide and saw it on right now, and it's only the 2nd episode (technically, pt2 of the first ep...). And I've seen the first 6-odd eps, albeit years ago. I know it's aired on Space at various points, but in my recollection it was usually at absurdly stupid times like early in the morning. ^^; But Saturday at 5 I can do...
For those that don't know, Jeremiah was a briefly-lived series by Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski that aired for 2 seasons a few years back before dying because of creative issues between JMS and the network, or something to that general effect, that led to him leaving the show. Dont' really remember the details now. Anyway, it's a post-apocalypic series where everyone over the age of puberty died in a mysterious plague 15-odd years ago, and the kids had to learn to survive in a new world. Consequently most modern technology is gone and people are struggling to survive, etc etc. It's a nifty show, and I've been wanting to watch it properly for ages (JMS, after all!). So yayz. ^^ Oh, and Sean Astin's in the second season. :)
