(no subject)

Gah, I'm exhausted... woke up at 6:15am, which is far, far too early for me. o.o Got to UBC by 7:30 (they said 1.5 hours before the ceremony's start at 8:30, but fuck that), got my gown and cap, and waited around for a bit (seriously, 7:00? It took me all of 5 minutes to get my gown, and we didn't line up til 7:50.). Our attempts at getting into line in the correct order and listen to the instructions being given to us just proved that having a B.A. in no way means that we're capable of doing such things. ;) Finally ended up in basically the right place, then walked to the Chan Centre in procession. The ceremony was nice and mercifully quite short. I managed not to trip and kill myself walking across the stage, so I consider it a success. :) Afterwards took pictures with the family then headed to a late breakfast then home to pass out. Have been tired ever since. Am back on Bowen now. Having trouble with my water. The woman renting upstairs came down and said she's having problems with it too, so we called our landlady (is that actually a term? is there a gender neutral word for landlord? ^^;) to let her know and ask what we should do.

...wait, an update. As I wrote that last bit, the woman upstairs called me to let me know that she called the guy who does our lawn/garden and he told her that they're cleaning the water mains right now and to just leave the taps running for a bit til they're clear. So I'm doing so; we'll see how it goes. Gah, I want a hot bath... *sigh* Want to read more of the Iron Man novelization in said hot bath. ;)
