Sweet. XD And I am totally Sam... Which is probably why as much as I adore Dean, I identify more with Sam. I totally get his frustration and bitterness towards John at not having gotten a normal childhood (funny, because I had a perfectly good childhood - maybe that's why I feel for him, and his desire for the normal childhood things...). Plus I'm also an academic of sorts, so I get his desire to go to college and have his dad be proud of him - I guess because I can only imagine how hard it would be if my parents didn't support me in that, so I feel for him a lot. Plus I suspect I'm about as whiny as he is. XD XD So I tend to sympathize with him when he's driving Dean crazy with his worrying or obsessing or bitching... lol. Oh Sammy, I do love you.

Anyway. Was planning to go see Order of the Phoenix at the Galley Cinema (titchy little theatre above the Galley Bistro, but hey, least we HAVE a theatre on the island now!) but it was sold out. Woe. I was hoping to see it again to see if I'd enjoy it more the second time.

So, off to do nothing for the rest of the evening... probably will draw. kipli's latest installment of her JD/Perry story inspired me with its ridiculously hot "JD handcuffs Perry and fucks him" scene (that aside from being ridiculously hot was also totally in character and served as nice exploration of how their relationship has evolved and god I'm a girl) and now I kinda want to draw it. Because oh. my. god. The mental image, ya'll, it kills me...

Btw, finished s3 of Scrubs and watched 4.01. :) The wedding was cute and entertaining; I expected something crazy like that to happen, this being Scrubs. XD And Perry coming to the reception and saying with a completely straight face to Carla that the ceremony was beautiful, then having her just glare daggers at him, cracked me the fuck up. He was trying so hard to be nice while not admitting that he missed the disastrous ceremony, and he had no clue why she was so mad. Too funny. Poor guy, lol. And poor Carla, for that matter...

God help me, I never thought I'd fall into this show so hard, never mind this fandom. I tried to rent s1 disc 1 from Zip.ca last Christmas, to check it out, but the disc got lost in the mail... hence why it took me until September to finally try again, having seen the occasional ep on TV. Definitely never expected to fall in love with JD/Perry.. first fic I ever read was a Supernatural crossover, which I read mainly because it was SPN. But it got me intrigued at Scrubs fic, so I went to read a fic that had vague JD/Perry overtones but was basically gen. Which effectively got me thinking "hmm, JD/Perry, intriguing..." which got me heading over to jd_cox feeling vaguely embarrassed and strange yet curious, which I believe made me find kipli's fics, which effectively hooked me. Go figure.

Oh, and in work related news, since I don't think I posted about it yet... I passed my probation last week. :) And I wrote my Teller Basics exam today, which means that I get a raise now. So yay! :) Work is mostly good... my manager is kinda nuts at times; when she's in a bad mood she's impossible to work with, and even worse, she's starting to piss off members. Not good for business, especially on such a small island. But other than that, work is good.

And hey, just over a month until my first vacation! Browncoat Cruise, here I come! Getting excited... it's going to be awesome. :)
