Gaah... cleaning out my closet so that some guy from the district can come tomorrow and punch a hole in it to get to the bathroom. Fun fun. Much as I enjoy unearthing my huge collection of stuffed animals (and stuffed globes and stuffed crayons and stuffed national monuments (the Eiffel Tower and Mt. Fuji, to name a couple))... damn but the dust is getting to me. Reactine hasn't kicked in yet. *twitch* Fortunately most of my stuffies are in large garbage bags, so it's not too hard to clean out. I kinda want to get them all out of the bags and clean them all. *sigh*  Am quite fond of a lot of them. Will finish in the morning, I think. Gah, I can't stop sneezing. o.o If my mom hadn't taken my digital camera to England, I'd totally take a picture of all the crap in there and post it. XD So many stuffies... so many stuffed snakes. o.o And most of them are out of the bags, from when I pulled them all out last August after returning from "Snakes on a Plane" and drapped them over myself and got [livejournal.com profile] bk635 to take a picture (you can see the aforementioned stuffed crayon in this one. Don't ask, I don't even remember... o.o). (this picture, taken at the same time, also gives some indication of the depths of my stuffy-filled closet... ye gods).

Incidentally, I just checked the TV guide and evidentally the CW up here in Vancouver (or Seattle, I guess) has decided to be stupid and has gone from the end of s2 of Farscape to the beginning of the show in its 1am-on-Sunday (Monday, really) timeslot. Ep2 of the series tonight, so if anyone's up at 1 and is interested... *grin* Though I would suggest watching ep1 first, generally speaking. And ep2 is kinda so-so (I liked it, but a lot of people didn't).

Sometimes I wonder what the hell I'm going to DO with all these stuffies when I move out. o.o Or if/when we get rid of this house. Eeek... I vaguely plan to parcel them out to any kids I eventually have, but otoh I'm very fond and protective of some of them and I ain't letting my kids near them. XD Nice future mother I am, eh? Heh.

Meant to post this yesterday, but forgot... this is awesome news. :) Can s2 of Heroes come now, please?

*is getting more and more excited about the upcoming new season of television* Hurry up, September... (and for once I can say that without having to also say "but damn, September means school..." woot.)

In the meantime, today is haircut and Bourne Ultimatum. Woo hoo. Colour desperately needs to be touched up - I've got aboue 2.5-3 inches worth of roots, and there's a rather obvious line on my hair where the dyed colour stops and the real hair starts. ^^; I've been balking at having to spend money to get it fixed, because I'm not sure that I want to have streaked hair for the rest of eternity and it seems to me that I should just stop now if I'm going to rather than having it done again and having the same dilemma in a few monthes, but whatever. ^^; I do rather like it, and I've gotten used to having semi-blond hair. I'd like for them to blend it better than the other hair salon did, though - they made it very streaky, and I'd prefer it to be more of a natural blend.

Blah, what a crap day. Was supposed to go get hair done then see Bourne Ultimatum, but nothing worked out properly... Was told by the hair salon when I called that the appointment (to touch up my colour and get a cut) would take 1-2 hours and cost ~$40+. So, I get an appt for 1 (movie at 3 just across from hair salon) and expect to pay maybe $60 (since I doubted it would actually be $40). Three and a half fucking hours later I've missed the movie and have shelled out $130. Fucking hell. I expected it to be a bit more than my original assumption since it turned out that I had to get my entire hair redyed (it had faded a lot...) but I still assumed, say, $60-80. I looked at the price board while reluctantly paying, and still have NO idea how it came to that much - the board said $39 for streaks and $26 for cut. That does not equal $130. Seriously. Wtf. I paid and stormed out of there, determined to never go back to that place.

Still kinda pissed off. Really sorry bout the movie, [livejournal.com profile] bk635 - I would have called you at home earlier, but I kept thinking "oh, it will only be maybe 15 more minutes and I can forgoe the cut if I have to" so I left it until 2:30, then your cell was turned off until you called and I finally asked the damned woman how long it would take. She said "45min to 1 hour" - one hour and a fucking half later, we finally finished. Most boring 3.5 hours of my life, I swear. She spent like 25 minutes drying my damned hair.

Last time I get my hair coloured, I swear... it's not worth it. Looks nice, but whatever. I really don't give a shit right now. And while I like the cut, I should know by now not to get it this short - doesn't all pull back into a ponytail now, and it's just going to get in my face and piss me off at work. Sigh.

Blah. Back at Bowen now, thank god. North Van house is a bloody mess, thanks to cleaning out my closet and strewing the contents everywhere. And after all that, the district guy realized that he couldn't get to the bathroom from my closet anyway (which if any of us had bothered to think for a second and LOOK at my closet we should have realized) so he had to go in through the bathroom wall itself. Blah. Just left everything a mess, don't really care right now. We'll clean it next weekend. For now, I've been having a spectacularly lazy evening since I got back at 7, sitting on my ass and watching Seinfeld and Friends and a bit of Doctor Who on CBC. Might go draw for a bit now... laaazy. And still kinda pissed off.

And also? I hate the new Semagic sometimes. Parts of it are good, but it doesn't let you use HTML and instead expects you to use the little buttons. Which normally would be okay, I guess, since I'm hardly an HTML whiz, but dammit it's annoying sometimes like when I'm trying to type and I just want to add italics without having to take my hands off the keyboard and manually move to select the word and hit the little italics button. Ergh.

And I'm well aware that I'm bitching at nothing, and I don't care. Because this day still sucks and I'm in a shitty mood. I love whoever invented blogs, I swear...
