An extremely well-worded, clear, and polite letter to LJ/Six Apart requesting clarification on their policies and stating our grievances with their actions and their terrible customer service. Please read and sign if you are so inclined. God knows it may not do anything, but it can't hurt... it's much more proactive and effective than yelling and causing drama in the comments over at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)

Fun though that may be. ;p Ultimately, though, we do have a lot of legitimate concerns that go far beyond simply "they're taking away our porn!" and are more based on LJ's lack of customer service and their inability (and refusal) to effectively communicate and clarify their policies. In the end, that's all we really ask for... the whole 'child porn' thing is a touchy subject in today's political climate, and it's not just LJ - I can understand them wanting to cover their asses. But they have been very vague in their ToS and have failed to address customer concerns adequetly, and frankly their behaviour overall has been unacceptable to us as consumers. It's no wonder that so many of us want to flee and create a place where we can feel welcome and valued. It may be an idealized dream that we can never truly accomplish, but hell, we can try. :)
(on a more depressing note, I'm at home... went to work this morning, started to feel tired and shaky, and my supervisor (who is made of awesome, seriously, she's so patient and kind) said I should go home. So I said "well sure, if you say so!". Feeling kinda guilty cause honestly I don't feel to bad now, but oh well... it was just a bit too overwhelming being back at work; I guess I'm not fully recovered yet... takes longer than I realized. Mouth still aches, too. I did bring work home, though, heh. We'll see 'bout getting around to that...)
