Jesus fucking Christ. I'm sick for all of two days and the shit hits the fan again. So much for hoping that Strikethrough was a one-time isolated event... Well, I could hope, anyway. Sigh. It's getting scary as fuck out there, and fandom is getting more and more serious about permanently leaving LJ. I'm just going to sit back and see what happens... I don't want to leave to another journal, but otoh if fandom really does move then I probably will too. Because this is utterly absurd and I don't want to be somewhere where those in charge think they can determine what has artistic and literary merit and what doesn't. Because really, if they don't think that ponderosa121's art has artistic merit then I guess the rest of us are fucked. I didn't like some of her subject matter, but her art was gorgeous.

And what the fuck is up with their new 'boldthrough' thing? Christ.

For now, I'm backing up my LJ and sitting tight. I don't think I have anything in my journal to be worried about, then otoh it's entirely likely that I posted some NC-17 HP art years ago with questionable ages. Oh hang on, I did just the other day... well, she's supposed to be 18, but I don't think that would stop these people. -_-
